Rugar would silently watch as Dahlia took her leap of confidence. As the head of the deer swung after its throat was grasped, Rugars heart lept from his chest into his throat for a moment. Watching as the buck strained to keep himself upright and balanced. His shoulder muscles flexing as his knees bent, the bucks mouth fell agape as it let out a silent scream. The brute knew it was unable to breathe. After being sure that Dahlia had a good grip of the deer, Rugar used his weight and took the bucks body to the ground. Too keep it from thrashing, Rugar gripped the deer by its hind legs and yanked back, straightening the deer out so it was unable to lash put strongly with it's back legs. Rugars muscles stiffened as he made sure to keep the back legs pulled tight until Dahlia released the bucks throat. Seeing the buck take its last breath was an adrenaline rush to him. Watching anything take their last breath was an amazing feeling. Flicking his tail, Rugar released the bucks legs, his deep dark golden brown orbs looking over at Dahlia. "You were amazing.. My huntress.." he stated softly to her, dipping his head in respect as he stepped toward her. Nudging Dahlia, he motioned for her to eat first if she was still hungry. "We make the most amazing team, don't ya think?" He asked with a grin following the question. He wanted so badly for her to accept coming with him. But, he knew that it was still hard even with all the trouble to leave others you love.

Dahlia didn't hesitate to rip into the still warm flesh of the buck, the red life-giving liquid rushing into her maw. The meat was fresh, warm, and healthy. A good and protien packed meal. She listened to the brute speak, his rumbling voice soothing to her ears. Her heart was pounding in her chest from the adrenaline rush, and it had been well paid off by the kill. It felt so freeing and refreshing to hunt outside of a pack. Sure, it was both her and Rugar, but it hadn't been a large hunting team with rules and guidelines and ceremonies. This kill was a kill purely for fun. She raised her head, licking the fresh blood from her maw. "We do make a pretty good team." She said. "My Rugar." She flashed him a very flirtatious grin, her dark eyes alight with dangerous ambition. "Perhaps we will have to do this again..." She stepped closer to him, tilting her head up enough to nearly brush noses with him. She lingered there for a moment, teasing, before sharply turning away to rip once more into the buck. Her tail brushed against his side teasingly as she did so. She had never been this fascinated by another wolf before. Sure, she'd had a crush on Blackburn for as long as she could remember but Rugar...he made her feel so different. He made her feel strong, powerful...free. It was almost as if he'd brought out some sort of inner calling. Some other-wordly desire to break from pack law, to leave everything she knew behind and live freely with another soul who wasnt't bound to the same laws as she. She already knew that his offer would be taken. It was just a matter of time for her. Timing would mean the difference between life and death.

Rugar watched intently as Dahlia ate. His piercing golden brown gaze staring at the female intensely. He knew that he wanted her, and only her. Rugar knew she most likely felt the same, but, there was that small sense of doubt that she didn't. Though, he also didn't think she would be going anywhere. Flicking his tail, he'd ride to his paws and swiftly make the move toward the meal after she ate a few bites. The smell and rush of the blood filling his mouth made his mind reel. The taste of the bucks blood was that of the feeling of love to him. It made him feel amazing. Being able to kill a fresh meal, and eat it with the wolfess he loved. "We do make a good team... my rugar.." Her Rugar? Did she really mean that? He surely hoped so. His audits veered forward at the comment as he licked his lips. Rugar then moved to step toward her, gently nuzzling his nose into her cheek and neck fur. He wanted to rub his scent all over her, to claim her as his. It made him angry that there was even a chance another male could take Dahlia from him. Though, he knew it wasn't his choice either.
