Rowan made her way to the burrow in the tree, then curled up, folding her jacket into a pillow. There, she allowed her thoughts to roam to the village, and how utterly useless she had been. Sorrow and determination were the emotions running high in her veins when Rowan somehow fell asleep.

After everything, the yelling and the fighting and every other thing that causes stress. Alvaro had really been done with everything. With the strength of his anger and such, he flew far away, high into the clouds. Clem had circled back after awhile, saying she was to tired to continue on. Alvaro ignored the aches and pains in his muscles who screamed for a rest. He just wanted to fly. Fly and fly and fly. He wanted to get away. Wanted to forget it all. Just for a little bit. He'd go back to town soon, just not yet.

The faerie was barely heading back as the sun began to go down. His wandering had given him a clearer head and he was no longer too upset. Passing through the border with ease. He finally realized that his body was very tired. Though his mind was wide awake, Alvaro needed to rest his wings pretty soon. He didn't want them to accidentally stop working due to exhaustion. As he reached the town square, he slowed and allowed himself to drift to the ground. Then he began to walk to the stables, where he had left all those horses.

Frost had meandered over to where Rowan was sleeping, and had snoozed as well. They pair seemed like outcasts, yet it was their preference.

Alvaro had always loved animals, so once he made it to the stables, he went to work. Helping the injured horses who had gotten hurt escaping the stables; giving a few a quick brush down. All the while he kept up this warm smile, his calmness spreading from his head down until he felt like a warm fuzz ball. That was around the time he just fell down and went to sleep. Because Alvaro is an idiot.

Sure)) Alvaro woke up in his bed, rubbing his eyes and yawning as he did so. Clem flew straight to him and he smiled at her in greeting. The bird of prey pulled at his hair and he grinned. "Okay okay I'm up." Quickly hopping out of his bed and stretching.

Rowan had been up since sunrise, practicing with her sword. Her muscles stretched as she moved, but it was the good kind of stretch that told her she was working the right muscles.

Alvaro ate a bit of food before heading back out. Searching for Rowan. He wanted to know how she was doing. After the past day's events, he wanted to make sure she was setting in well. That's when he heard the bloodcurdling scream from the medic's house.
