Lifeguard: She loves to swim, and since moving to the town, became the lifeguard at the local waterpark.

"Yes, I know there's a special place in hell for me. It's called a throne"

Appearance
Ruina stands tall at a solid 5'8" and carries herself with an air of strength and athleticism. Her muscular physique, though skillfully concealed under her clothes and armor, speaks volumes about her dedication to fitness. Unlike the bulky muscles often associated with men, Ruina's physique is defined by lean muscle, with very little body fat. Despite her incredible strength, it's clear at a glance that she is undeniably a woman. While her chest may not be overly large, it still possesses a noticeable presence. Her skin boasts an even tan, possibly acquired from sunbathing at a nude beach.

In addition to her impressive physicality, Ruina possesses an otherworldly beauty. Her long and wavy black hair often remains pulled back and out of her way, allowing her striking gray eyes to take center stage. Typically cold and piercing, these eyes occasionally radiate warmth on rare occasions when Ruina experiences genuine happiness.

Ruina's face showcases her unique features, from its slightly rounded shape to its well-defined jawline. However, the most distinctive aspect of her face is undoubtedly her jawline, which adds a touch of strength and character. Scars from her childhood mark her skin, yet they neither define nor trouble her, as she has learnt to embrace them naturally. Alongside these scars are three tattoos that paint a faint story of impulsive decisions. One, a medium-sized black dragon, stretches across her left ribs, while a serpent wraps around a scepter on her inner right arm, extending from wrist to elbow. The final tattoo adorns her lower right stomach area, a simple feather design. Each of these tattoos reflects moments of spontaneity rather than deep symbolism.

Ruina's voice is a powerful blend of confidence and candor, resonating with a fierce intensity that commands attention. Each word is delivered with a clear, assertive tone, unfiltered and honest, cutting through façades with the precision of a blade. When she speaks, there’s an electric energy that sparks in the air, fueled by her unyielding spirit and sharp intellect. Her laughter, vibrant and genuine, offers glimpses of her softer side, on the rare occasions when she laughs. Yet, within the assertiveness lies a subtle depth; her voice can adopt a husky warmth, especially in moments of intimacy, revealing the compassion she often keeps hidden. It can also turn steely and unforgiving when provoked, delivering a blunt truth that leaves no room for ambiguity. Those who have crossed her path know to tread carefully, for her words can be as fierce as her spirit

Ruina is most often found in dark-themed attire. The all-black ensemble, both comfortable and suitable for movement, fits her perfectly. Her wardrobe predominantly consists of dark shades like black, dark blue, dark green, and grey, with bright colors being a rarity. However, if ever caught in a colorful outfit, it is likely to be a shade of her favorite color, blue. Ruina rarely dresses up, preferring the simplicity of pants and shirts. Dresses are an extremely unlikely choice for her, as she prefers the practicality and ease of pants.

"Everyone wants to be a beast.... until it's time to do what beasts do"

Personality
Ruina is anything but a damsel in distress; her fierce nature permeates every aspect of her being. Courageous and unyielding, she will go to great lengths for the people she loves and considers her friends. Behind her physical strength lies a sharp intellect and a hint of cunning, making her a force to be reckoned with. However, Ruina is not one to look down upon others. She believes in treating everyone with respect and fairness.

One of Ruina's defining traits is her unfiltered honesty. She refuses to hold back when people ask her questions, often declaring, "If you don't want to know the truth, don't ask me." Her straightforwardness may occasionally catch others off guard, but it's a testament to her refusal to sugarcoat reality. In addition to her blunt nature, she possesses an air of mystery. Ruina is a skilled liar when it comes to concealing her true identity, and she revels in keeping others guessing.

Occasionally, Ruina's kinder side emerges, but only in the presence of those she trusts. Once someone earns her trust, it is cherished and rarely lost. However, should that trust be betrayed, regaining it becomes exceedingly difficult, if not impossible. Despite her guarded exterior, Ruina harbors a sweet and generous heart beneath her protective shield. Deep down, she possesses an innate warmth that reveals itself in moments of intimacy and trust. Her childhood experiences have ingrained in her the importance of self-preservation, making it hard for others to break through her emotional barriers.
Stubbornness is another noteworthy trait of Ruina's. Once she sets her mind on something, changing it becomes nearly impossible. Her determination borders on obstinacy, and she can be harsh with her words if provoked. Although she dislikes this darker aspect of her personality, she is aware that when her mean side emerges, it is unforgiving and unmerciful. Many make an effort to avoid crossing her path, knowing the severity of her potential insults. Despite these flaws, Ruina finds solace and joy in nature. She cherishes the soothing melodies of the outdoors, often taking walks or indulging in picnics where she can bask in the harmony of her surroundings. Her love for animals runs deep, reflecting her capacity for tenderness and compassion.

"I no longer give a fuck"

Miscellaneous
Talents/Special Skills
Volleyball: Ruina has been playing volleyball since she was a young kid, and she loves it. It was her only escape from her mother, since there were always a lot of games, she got to get out of the house quite often. She is the setter and was captain at her last team. She is very efficent and can float through positions. She is strongest at setter, but weakest at libero.

Swimmer: The town she used to live in with her mother had a community pool, and she always managed to sneak away to swim. It was like a safe space for her, and sometimes she would swim for hours.
Master Illusionist: Ruina possesses extraordinary sleight-of-hand, misdirection and sense-trickery abilities, enabling her to perform a wide range of routines that are designed to divert and control attention. She often uses these abilities to get herself out of sticky situations. She loves to play card tricks on people.

Fast Reflexes: Ruina possesses an extraordinary capacity to achieve remarkable velocities when her reflexes are triggered. This uncanny aptitude grants her the ability to swiftly navigate her surroundings, reacting with exceptional speed and efficiency. Ruina's heightened reflexes endow her with a distinct advantage in situations requiring rapid response and agility, enabling her to execute actions with unparalleled swiftness and precision. Such a remarkable capability elevates her performance and effectiveness to unparalleled levels in dynamic and time-sensitive scenarios.

Strengths
Confidence: Her confidence radiates, empowering her to approach challenges and interactions with a poised and assured demeanor. This sense of self-assurance enables her to navigate uncertainties and make decisiveness a hallmark of her actions.

Weaknesses
Stubborn: Her stubborn nature can be both a blessing and a curse. While it fuels her determination, it can hinder her from considering alternative perspectives or adjusting her course of action when necessary. This inflexibility may occasionally impede Ruina's growth and limit her ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Introvert: Her inclination towards being antisocial often sets her apart from social gatherings and inhibits her natural inclination to form deep connections with others. This inclination for solitude may cause Ruina to miss out on valuable social interactions and potential opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Honesty: Ruina's unwavering commitment to honesty, though admirable, may sometimes come across as blunt or tactless. This unfiltered honesty can inadvertently hurt others' feelings or strain relationships, requiring her to learn the art of providing feedback with gentleness and diplomacy.

Quick Thinking: Her quick thinking often serves her well, but occasionally leads her to jump to conclusions or make hasty decisions without fully considering all the available information. This impulsive nature can result in regrets or unintended consequences, requiring Ruina to refine her decision-making process.

Organization: This may not be her strongest suit; some areas of her life may be in disarray due to her tendency to overlook details or rely on her memory instead of implementing effective organization systems. This lack of organization may occasionally cause frustration or inefficiency.

Jaxon Richewell, 19, Football Team Captain

Link reference: https://gifyu.com/image/bv6IC

Actual Description:
~ His hair is bright blonde, semi short and slightly wavy especially when he is past due for a hair cut. No matter the situation it always seems like it's messy. Not that Jaxon needs to put much effort into his hair anyways considering he's so popular that people don't notice or they do and think it's a choice for his hair to be messy.
~ His eyes are a noticeable baby blue that draw attention from across a room, some say it's the first thing they notice when he walks into a room. Considering he's a social butterfly he likes to use it to his advantage when making eye contact with people across the room, his eyes either a piercing warning that intimidate others into silence or a welcoming gaze like the calmness of waves in the ocean.
~ His face is evenly distributed, small nose to match his lips that display a charming array of teeth under them. His jaw line is firm and defined to match the rest of his toned body. His pecs, glutes, biceps and abdomen are defined and firm from working out in the gym and having to stay in shape for football along with the high expectations he and his father hold him to. Always striving to be better. To push himself harder.
Skin Markings:
~ A Roman numeral tattoo displaying the date 10.04.2010 is imprinted on his left side next to his collar bone and shoulder (you'll learn more about that and the meaning behind it when the time comes).
~ A tinted patch on his lower back, a birth mark is displayed but both are normally only seen if his shirt is off though depending on the way his shirt sits or if he's wearing a tank top the tattoo can be seen.

Typical clothing description:
~ When he's wearing his jerseys either his home jersey (white as the main color with red as the secondary and blue as the accent color) or his away jersey (red as the main color with white as the secondary and blue as the accent color). Normally partnered with his white or his red cleats (for matching his jersey because his parents are rich enough that he can have one of each color, he even has blue ones on occasion).
~ When he isn't wearing his football uniform and he's attending school he's typically in a name brand hoodie sporting in colors that tend to be dull or will make his highlighted features like his eyes pop. Typically his hoodies or crew necks are along the grey scale ranging from light greys to black. His shirts are usually either sleeveless tshirts or just normal tshirts with the occasional polo in there. This range in color normal cool colors like blues to bring out the color of his eyes though he does occasional wear reds or greens. He's also a big fan of tank tops especially when he has practice after school he'll usually have one tucked under a hoodie or in his backpack. On the colder days he'll wear his letterman jacket which has the same color scheme as his home jersey or he'll wear his leather jacket or his grey heavy duty carhartt jacket.
~ For shoes he normally sticks to Dunks or Jordans. Since his family is pretty loaded he has a decent collection of shoes (call it a hobby) he often switches out his shoes wearing them differently to corespond with his outfits. His favorite pair of shoes are his custom Jordan's that have the school colors etched into the design along with the school mascot drawn in a graffiti style on the shoes.
Deeper personality insight:
~ Witty, charming and charismatic. He's always been raised to be social. His dad being a big business man had people over a lot for out of work business meetings or work related parties even if they weren't at their place of work. His house was nicer that the conference room at the work building anyways. Due to people constantly being there and his dad always dragging him into the line of attention being outgoing and social with people became like a sense of nature. Easily exhibited without even having to try. Plus with his father consistently watching over his shoulder he felt the need to make his father proud in everything he could.
~ insecure, bottled emotions, hidden fears, short temper. Like any normal person Jaxon has a lot of feelings that people don't get to see. He's good at pretending and even better at putting on a mask when needed for his and his family's reputation. Feeling the need to make his father proud and seek his approval consistently leads to some nasty side effects. Not talking about his inner feelings is one of the things that leads to others like not being good enough for his family if he didn't try or push himself so hard, the stress and pressure he constantly felt like he was under that no one knew nor could know. Other than his best friend and even he knew the bare minimum of his feelings. When getting to topics involving his dad or his dad around him his temper sometimes seems to get the best of him when all the bottled emotions start to be a bit much.
~ judgy or sassy , sarcastic, guarded. Because of all the feelings he has hidden underneath his ray of light and perfection that constantly has to be exhibited he doesn't let much people get too close. Once people start to get soft on him or offer him something close to comfort or safety his guard slams up. His sassy and sarcastic demeanor at times is normally a defense mechanism to ward people away from the person they don't get to see. The person he can't afford for them to see.
Background
Son of Cathy Richewell and James Richewell. Cathy had Jaxon when she had just turned 19, his mom and dad were on and off again through high school until his mom informed his dad that she was pregnant. It wasn't long after that that they had gotten married, his father devoting to make it work for the sake of the baby. His dad however wasn't around very much, he continued to go to school and after graduation moved on to law school while his mom ended up graduating and then attending a technical college to be a CNA so she could still take care of her baby and attend school.
Turns out law school was a good career choice because James ended up with a internship during his degree and ended up quickly shooting up the hierarchy at his law firm and by graduation he was below the big boss of the company that hired him while Cathy simply did what she could. James ended up buying out the company and building a new one that he also ran, he had enough money to get a big house in the nice fenced off neighborhood just on the inside of the town which they now call their home.
Since Cathy was around most of his childhood Jaxon is closer with his mother (watching chic flicks and listening to her work drama like the daily news) however as soon as Jaxon could start walking his father started to get more involved in making Jaxon like a clone of himself and he immediately started to play catch with a football and bring him to work to try and push him in the direction of wanting to be a lawyer like him. Jaxon's dad was always determined and hard on himself and his accomplishments and with a son with a life ahead of him he planned on trying to shape him to be set for success, to make the family representation generational. Or atleast try to. Cathy wasn't a fan of it and would often get into fights about James being too hard on Jaxon, to let him be his own person but she couldn't do anything about it. Not really. She was always working night shift so she could never go to the football games, she could never see how bad James pushed him when she wasn't around.
Jaxon was enrolled in junior football as soon as possible and pushed to do better every day. He'd practice after practice and practice at home and go to the gym with his dad, not because he wanted to but because his dad made him. When he lost a game or fumbled a ball it was a whole scream fest from his father lecturing about how he wasn't trying hard enough or that he raised him better than that. Just like his dad had wanted he had essentially carved his son into a perfect image that he wanted, atleast from what he could see. He didn't see the broken mess underneath that held it all together. Because of his dad and the overbearing weight on his shoulders he had made team captain, he was popular in school, he tried to keep good grades. But at what cost? Was it really worth it?

Jaxon Richewell
The birds chirped in the early AM as Jaxon slept in his 4 bedroom 3 bath modernized house that was considered in the rich gated part of town. The rest of the town was still asleep, early mornings for the wealthy on a Monday were far from realistic. Well except for James and Jaxon Richewell.. his father an over achiever always said the early bird got the worm and he meant that literally. If you weren't up early in his mind you were wasting your day away.
Jaxon groaned to the monotone sound of his 5am phone alarm blaring as a signal to get out of bed, he blinked his tired eyes slowly as light filled his vision and he instinctively brought a hand up to shield his face from the sunbeam that seeped through his blinds. Jaxon allowed his eyes to adjust as he lazily gripped his phone off the nightstand and swiped away the notification to silence the annoying ringtone with a groan. Kill me.. Jaxon thought as he laid in his bed regretting the fact that he needed to get up before his dad started meddling in his life, before he started harping on him for not doing enough.
Jaxon rolled over gripping the sheet and slowly pulling it off him and he shifted into a sitting position. Jaxon scanned his room glancing at the decorations, the expensive tv and game system, the walk in closet, the body mirror. Jaxon ran a disoriented hand through his messy hair with a big stretch of his back as he contimplated the day and what was to become of it. Practice at 6am, School starting at 7:30am, possibly hitting the gym after school with Revalor? Filling space to avoid his controlling father. Jaxon shifted himself off the bed as he made his way to the closet gripping the handle and sliding the door open to reveal the rows of clothes and shelves of shoes.

Jaxon picked out a navy blue cut off with a pair of black gym shorts tossing them into his gym before picking out a black T shirt, a grey hoodie and some ripped jeans before tossing those into the bag as well, for the school day. For practice he picked out his practice uniform, pulling over the black compression T shirt and tiredly stumbling into his football joggers just as he heard a hard knock on his bedroom door. Jaxon let out a deep sigh as he pulled on his socks and grabbed his shoes "I'm up dad. Just grabbing the rest of my shit." Jaxon called out masking his annoyance as he slipped on his custom Jordan's and tying them tightly before zipping up his gym bag and grabbing his backpack off the shelf, slipping his phone in his pocket before opening his bedroom door.
"Morning." Jaxon muttered with a small roll of his eyes as he opened his door to see his dad still standing there like a helicopter parent. He pushed past his father as he started to lecture about how he had practice at 6am as if he didn't already know that. Jaxon however ignored his father as he rushed downstairs into the kitchen pulling a yogurt out of the fridge and grabbing a bagel to pop into the toaster. While he waited for the toaster to pop back up he grabbed cream cheese out of the fridge and poured a quick cup of orange juice which he almost immediately slammed down his gut.
Jaxon let out a soft yawn as he reached for his 2025 Jeep Wrangler car keys pushing the automatic start on it before making his way back to his badgel pieces that had popped up from the toaster and he quickly pulled them onto a paper towel releasing his fingers from the burning sensation that shot through his fingertips when he had grabbed the bagel. He sloppily smeared the cream cheese from the knife onto the sides of the bagel smushing them together before going to put the cream cheese container back in the fridge. He hesitated staring at the whiteboard that was on the fridge and he gently picked up the dry erase marker writing a quick note for his mom since he most likely wasn't going to see her till the late evening. 'Have a good day, I love you' Jaxon scribbled messily on the board before going to grab his bagel holding it firmly in his mouth as he carried his stuff in an unorganized order as he headed for the front door.
Jaxon didn't offer a goodbye to his father, he didn't need to. His father never said one to him either so it didn't matter. It was already 5:30AM leaving him about 30 minutes to 20 minutes to get to school when he wanted to so he could make it to the locker room to change and to go over a few fundraiser ideas for the football team with his coach. Team captain responsibilities. Lucky me. Jaxon pulled open his car door, sliding into his lifted jeep swiftly as he threw his duffle and his backpack into the backseat aimlessly. Jaxon buckled up pulling the belt over his chest as he gripped the gear shifter and pulling it into Reverse as he checked his mirrors as he began backing out of his garage and driveway. He quickly made it out of his driveway before whipping his car into drive and putting his foot to the gas as he began to speed towards the direction of the high school.

"Revalor, Dad wants to know how late you'll be out tonight." She sticks her head into the bathroom where Revalor was brushing his teeth. The three siblings were up and getting ready for school, and their Dad was making breakfast. Revalor spits out his toothpaste, rinses his mouth, and looks back up. "Eh, depends. I might go hit the gym with Jax. Go for a run." A smirk dances across Ruina's face, "Hang out with Elle?" Revalor rolls his eyes as he wipes his mouth, "Maybe, not that it is any of your concern." Ruina grins, "Why don't you two just make it official? She's met the family, feels pretty official."

Revalor rolls his eyes again playfully at his sister, "I don't tell you how to run your love life, do I?" Ruina starts away, "Nope! But warning, some girls like a label and sometimes they get impatient!" Revalor shouts after her, "Hey! It's my love life." Ruina snorts as she heads down the stairs to her father, "He says he doesn't know." Her other brother, Ayduin looks up from where he is devouring their dad's famous pancakes, "Revalor never knows. Is he hanging out with Elle?" Ruina sits down, thanking her father for breakfast. "He says, maybe." The two siblings exchange a grin as their father laughs, "I think that means yes."

Seconds later, Revalor is joining the family. "What are you guys giggling at?" Ruina takes a bite of her pancakes, "Your love life, dork." Revalor groans, "Didn't I just say that I don't meddle in yours?" Ayduin smirks, "She doesn't have one." Smack. "Hey!" Aelrindel snorts, "Be nice, you three." The three siblings shoot each other a mock angry look before bursting into laughter. Aelrindel takes a sip of his coffee, "You ready for your first day of class at River Ridge High, Rui?" She'd been moved in with her father and brother for nearly two weeks now, but hadn't yet started school due to a bunch of court and legal things.

Ruina sighs, "I suppose. I have to admit, I'll miss my old school." Ayduin nudges her with his shoulder, "Hey, but you're on the volleyball and swim team, at least you'll still get to play your favorite sports." Ruina finishes her pancakes, "This is true. And I definitely won't miss that town that much." The implication is clear and the room grows quiet. Before Aelrindel clears his throat, "All right, trouble makers, it's almost 5:30, time to go!" The three liked to get to school extremely early. Number one, Revalor had football practice at 6AM, and Ruina and Ayduin liked to go running before school.

The three help clean breakfast up before bidding their father farewell and piling out the door to their respective cars. They did have a theme going, Honda cars, and they all had a beautiful metallic grey, blue, and black going on. Revalor had the blue, a 2023 Honda Civic. Ayduin had the grey, a 2024 Honda Accord. While Ruina had the black, a 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid. The three siblings hit the road, following each other through the quiet countryside towards town. They lived about fifteen minutes out of town, but usually could make the drive in ten. Ruina turns her music up as she drives, god it felt good to be living with her father now.

It had been a long battle in court of custody and arguments and evidence. Her mother was a piece of work, and she wanted the child support that came from Ruina. Speak of the devil. Ruina's hands tighten on her steering wheel as her phone pings with a message. The message popping across the car's display. Move back in with me. Her movements are aggressive and jerky as she clears the message off the screen. No, she refused to let her mother ruin her day. Today was going to be a good day. She would go to her first day of classes. She would make some new friends, go to volleyball and swim practice. Hit the gym with her brothers after school. And not be caught in a web of her mother's bullshit.

She pulls in behind her brothers as they all pull into the parking lot to park. She's the last to exit her car, tugging her backpack on. Ayduin and Revalor are leaning against their cars waiting, playfully arguing about Revalor and Elle. "Don't judge me, Ayduin, aren't you in the same situation with, oh what's her name?" Ayduin crosses his arms, "I have not a clue what you're talking about." Revalor snorts, "Oh please. Rui, what was the girl's name again?" She kind of looks up at them, "Oh, uh. Penny, maybe." The two brothers frown, usually Ruina dived head first into teasing her brothers. Revalor steps forward, "What's wrong?"

She pulls her phone out, great another text message. "Nothing, say, doesn't practice start in fifteen minutes?" Revalor narrows his eyes, "Don't change the subject, Rui." Ayduin pipes in, "You know you can tell us anything." Ruina puts her phone away, "It's nothing, okay? Rev, you don't want to be late to practice. And come on, Ayduin, we better start running or we'll be late to school." The two brothers exchange a look and sigh, but reluctantly relent. They know better than to push Ruina when she didn't want to talk. But, hopefully, they could get it out of her later.

Five minutes later, Revalor is walking into the locker room, bag slung over his shoulder. The locker room is already buzzing with activity, everybody getting ready for practice. It used to be practice after school, but after a team vote, everyone decided that they liked practice before school. So they switched and it had been incredibly efficent. Of course, they still did practices during the day, especially when it was hot so they remained used to the heat. But, morning practice yielded the best results, so they stuck with that usually.

Ruina's feet pound against the ground as she runs beside Ayduin. The two liked to make a loop around town, well not a huge loop. Mostly down the main street, it usually took about an hour. Ayduin muses, "You want to talk about it?" Ruina's jaw tenses, "Not particuarly." Ayduin shoots a sideways look at his sister as they run down the street. "Okay, well, you know, Rev and I are always here for you if you do. Dad too." That makes Ruina feel bad, and she shoots a soft look to her brother. "I know."

Jaxon turned up the radio blasting the music with little to no care or urgency. Often he found that getting into his car and driving was an escape from majority of his life problems. He rolled down the window his one arm hanging out the side as his other hand tapped against the steering wheel to the beat. Jaxon breathed in the brisk morning air with a small sigh as he sped down the backroads, turning onto Main Street and slowing to the school zone speed as he neared the student parking.

Jaxon whipped into his parking spot, he usually got here earlier than everyone else so he parked closest to the side doors. It was the fastest way to get to the locker room in the morning. Jaxon turned off his car, hopped out and grabbed his two bags of luggage out of the backseat before he hustled to the building locking his car behind him.

Jaxon stopped at his locker to hook his backpack in it, he gazed at the pictures that he had hung on his inside locker door. A picture with him and his mom, a picture of him and Revalor sticking their tongues out at some party, and a picture of the football team at a after party. The day he made Captain. Jaxon smiled lightly his eyes glimmering has he took in the memories that flooded him before he quickly closed his locker door.

"Goodmorning Professor Jane" Jaxon called out with a charming grin as he saw one of the teachers walking down the hall in passing. "Goodmorning early bird, see you in calculus" Mrs. Jane had replied with a warm smile. Jaxon sucked at math. He failed one of her classes junior year. His father was livid about it. So livid he hired a tutor and quite literally didn't let him go outside most of that summer other than to study and retake that class during the summer so he wasn't behind.

Jaxon shook his head as he pushed open the gym doors and made his way to the locker room going to his jersey number labeled locker. It was a locker that had the label TC on it from when the guys surprised him with the announcement of his new title. Jaxon shoved his duffle in the locker with a small breath as he unzipped it and pulled out his cleats, slipping off his Jordan's leaving them by his locker and tying his cleats as he rubbed the remainder of sleep out of his eyes.

"Is that my star player I hear?" Jaxon heard his coach call out from his office that branched from the inside of the locker room. Jaxon grinned as he shoved off the bench and strided into the office leaning against the doorway "morning coach, how it be?" Jaxon questioned with a small smile as he looked to his coach. At first glance Coach Fisher looked nothing but friendly, he looked more like an ex Marine that could take you out with one look. If you asked Jaxon he'd tell you he just had a rough exterior. The guy used to play football in college, got into a car accident and it ruined his career. He never could let it go so he became a gym teacher & the football coach. To Jaxon he was just a guy with failed dreams, a family man who wanted so badly for his kids to follow in the dreams he couldn't achieve but he knew he couldn't force them. That's what Jaxon loved about his coach. He was nothing like his father.

"Oh you know.. was just waiting on you, slacker." Coach Fisher joked with a stern look and Jaxon rolled his eyes waving it off gently with his hand "yeah yeah.. I'm here now am I not? Oh, speaking of which...Fundraisers for New Jerseys? Considering these are well. Kind of shit" Jaxon suggested bluntly as he gestured to his jersey. They were jerseys they had for the past 4 years. To the guys who were new they got hand me downs. To the guys who have been here for the last 4 years it was just used up. Jaxon gave a small teasing grin as his coach crossed his hands at the mention of the shitty jerseys "Anyways kinda corny idea but I was thinking car wash, football guys for the ladies and we could try and get the cheer team or the volleyball team partnered with us to have them wash the guys cars. Split the profits? What do you think?" Jaxon suggested as he shrugged lightly. They had done a car wash a few years ago for a new footballs & revamped football field equipment. It had worked then, he didn't see why it wouldn't work now.

Coach stayed silent for a moment examining Jaxon's face with the strongest poker face Jaxon sworn he's ever seen before he finally spoke "That could work. If the guys are on board, I'll mention it at practice. And if their down then I'll get in contact with the volleyball team coach and see if they'd be down. I'd say I'd message the cheer coach but.. she's a stickler. Helping the boys isn't exactly something she does willingly" Coach murmurs with a small nod of agreement before he gestured to the locker room "Go get the footballs and set up on the field for practice and then get back in here when your done" Coach finally said before he returned back to his computer, basically ending the conversation. "You got it Coach" Jaxon replied with a small nod before he pushed off the doorway and made his way to the exiting door that led to the field.

Jaxon pushed open the door with a deep breath as he drug out the cart of footballs from the equipment shed, pulling it to the side lines before he began to push the blocking dummies along the field so they were all lined up on one side. Jaxon pulled out cones and placed them for some of the weaving drills that they alway did for practice. He glance towards the student parking lot as he noticed Rev's familiar Honda followed by his brothers and some other Honda next to his. Jaxon's eyes narrowed as he watched the two brothers talk as they waited for the 3rd person who appeared to be some girl. Jaxon remembered Rev briefly mentioning that his sister was transferring here. He assumed that's who it was. He shrugged it off finishing up his equipment placement as he made his way back towards th gym, excited to see his friend and to greet the rest of the team.

Jaxon made his way back to the gym and pushed open the locker room door his eyes gleaming as he welcomed his team mates giving them a playful slap on the shoulder or a fist bump as he sat down on the bench besides them "Ya'll ready for practice? Should be an easy one today." Jaxon called out to one of the guys as they joked about how Jaxon liked to claim every practice was going to be an easy one. Jaxon's face perked up as he saw Rev round the corner towards his locker "good morning sunshine" Jaxon teased as he slid along the bench as he leaned the cement wall and the end of the bench "How's Elle? Y'all still hanging tonight?" Jaxon questioned with a small mocking grin. Jaxon new almost everything about Rev. It was his best friend after all. He kind of had to. Granted everyone had their secrets and he knew there was an equal amount of secrets that they both kept to themselves, for the most part he knew everything. Including Elle. How he's been friends for awhile but definitely more than friends but both of them were shy to make the first move. Atleast that's what he had gathered.

Ever since him and his ex ended things, he has chosen to redirect the attention away from conversation about her by diving into his friends love life's instead. To put it simply Liana was too controlling and frankly he couldn't handle her possessive behavior and her obsession with his and his dads relationship. She had been with him for atleast two years but she and him got into a huge fight one day and he ended it with I can't do this anymore, leaving her storming off with anger and heartbreak. Thinking about it made him feel guilty for the way he had ended it, how he had snapped and screamed at her. Jaxon's eyes furrowed before he shook his head and turned his attention back to Rev with a playful grin.

Revalor was at his locker, looking incredibly distracted. His head comes up as Jaxon walks up. "Hi." He blinks once, Elle? Oh yes. He rubs his face, "Maybe, I haven't decided yet. She hasn't texted." Revalor looks down at his phone, then back up. A frown crosses his face, before he reluctantly shakes off his concern for his sister. "We hitting the gym after school?" He reaches for his gear, "My siblings will probably join us. I'll introduce you to my sister, today's her first day here." He pulls on his gear, glancing down at his phone as it pings. Elle.

"Guess I am hanging out with Elle later, but I'll still have time to go to the gym."

It doesn't take him long to get fully dressed in his practice gear. "Easy practice today, eh? You say that before every practice, and it never is." He begins to stretch, reaching up towards the ceiling, groaning as his muscles stretch. Stretching always felt great. He reaches for his helmet, "I swear, if Coach has us running suicides again, I'll lose it." Suicides were every athletes worse nightmare. Revalor runs a hand through his hair, "Or bear crawls, god I rather do suicides."

-Last Period-
"Ruina, hey, come to my office real quick?" Ruina looks up, she is in her practice gear for volleyball. Their practice was about to start. She frowns in confusion, why did the coach want to see her in her office? She adjusts her headband as she walks after Williams, "Is there something wrong, Coach?" Williams beckons Ruina into the office, "No, nothing bad. But it'll be quieter and easier to talk in my office." Ruina follows her as they duck down the hallway into the office. Ruina sits as Williams beckons for her too.

"So, unfortunately, school policies have changed." Ruina blinks, her heart dropping, what did Williams mean by school policies would change? Did that mean that she couldn't play volleyball anymore? What about swimming? She couldn't lose either of those sports. Not only did she love them, but they had given her an escape when she couldn't handle anything else. What would she do if she couldn't play anymore? "Does that mean...? What about swimming? What policies?" Williams chuckles at Ruina's frightened expression. "No, no, don't worry. You're still on both teams."

Ruina's shoulders slump in relief, "Awesome." Her eyebrows furrow in confusion, "Wait, so what do you mean by school policies changed?" Williams chuckles, "Your physical, it doesn't cross school districts." Ruina blinks, "Wait, really?" Williams nods, "Yeah, it's a weird new state law, guess it makes sure that athletes remain in shape even when they switch districts?" Williams sits back, "I don't know why, physicals are required yearly." Ruina nods in agreement. Williams flips through the paperwork she had in front of her, "Now, a physical won't be too hard to obtain. But you can't join practice or play in any games until you get one."

Ruina nods, "Okay, that's no problem. I can get one by tomorrow." Williams closes the folder, "Awesome, you're welcome to still watch practice today if you'd like." Ruina follows Williams' suit as the coach gets up, "Sounds good, I'd love to. I'd love to see how everybody plays." The two exit her office, and Williams muses, "I've seen some video footage of you playing in your last team. I'm excited to see you play with our team. I think our team dynamic will be incredible and your skills will be incredibly useful. We lost our setter last year to graduation."

Ruina asks, "No other setters?" Williams laughs, "Surprisingly no, everybody else is better at the other positions. We've just been managing without one." Ruina internally sighs in relief, she wasn't gonna have to fight somebody for a starter spot, and she wasn't gonna piss somebody off by taking their stop. The two re-enter the gym where the team is already warming up. A couple of the girls who she's already met in class and chatted with, raise their hands to wave in greeting. She can feel the tension sliding out of her body. Starting at a new school was going to be awesome. She could play her favorite sports for purely fun this time. No worry about using it as an escape.

-After School-
She raises an eyebrow as she approaches her car. Ayduin was leaning against his which was still parked beside hers. "Hey, what's up?" Ayduin grins, "How was your first day?" She opens her car and tosses her bag into the back seat. "Fine. Turns out I need a new physical though." Ayduin raises an eyebrow, "A new physical?" She nods, "To play volleyball and swim here." Ayduin muses, "You need a new one? That's odd." Ruina agrees, "Very odd." She looks around, Revalor's car was still here. "Where's Rev?" Ayduin shrugs as he runs a hand through his hair. "I think he's with Jax, I think he said something about going to the gym if you're down."

Ruina nods, "Sure, I haven't been in a while. It'll be nice to get back into it." Ayduin grins, "Great, whenever Revalor gets here we can go." Ruina nods, "One car? All cars?" Ayduin shrugs, "We can ask Rev when he gets here." Ruina closes her car door and leans again it. "So, any new friends? Any crushes?" She snorts, "Seriously, Ayduin?" He grins at her, "Oh come on, you really haven't seen anyone cute?" She snorts, "I've made a lot of new friends today, a lot of them are on the volleyball team or swim team." Ayduin nods, "Awesome. And crushes?" She rolls her eyes, "Ayduin." He pokes at her, "Oh come on, Rui, lighten up."

She laughs, playfully slapping at him. "Alright, alright. I have seen some cute guys, but no, not really anybody to have a crush on." Ayduin raises his eyebrows, "Really?" Ruina groans, "Ayduin, it's the first day, okay? I haven't gotten close enough to have a crush on anyone." Ayduin snickers, "Technically, you can think someone is cute and have a crush on them." Ruina rubs her face, "Ayduin, stop." Ayduin's grin widens but he only nods towards the school. "There's Rev, and I think Jax."

Jaxon's grin faded slightly in to a slight look of concern as he observed Rev's facial expressions. He seemed distant distracted but he didn't decide to press him about it. Rev knew that if he needed to rant or vent about anything that he was here to listen and to offer advice if it was necessary. Jaxon sighed with a small roll of his eyes at the mention of Revalor being unsure about whether he and Elle were hanging out. Jaxon gave him a small pat on the shoulder "of course you two are hanging out together. You guys are like magnets" Jaxon joked trying to lighten the mood as he offered Rev a half smile before changing the topic at his proposed question "yeah, you know I'm always down... I thought you had mentioned something bout your sister moving here officially. The more the merrier" Jaxon stated with a small shrug as he grabbed his helmet.

Jaxon stands as he watches everyone start to gather towards the exit doors to file out towards the field and Jaxon grins as adrenaline started to flow through his veins. When he was out on the field. That's when he was at peace. That was his calm from the storm. Jaxon glanced to Rev with a smirk as he gave him a playful devious look "what did I tell you.. I'm always right" Jaxon murmured smugly before glancing towards the coach's office as he watched him get up and head out towards the field. "Hurry up will ya" Jaxon pressed impatiently as he watched more of the team begin to file out, they were still early but he was always antsy when it came to Football. I mean he was the team captain after all. "I have a love hate relationship with them both but hey guess we'll just have to wait and see" Jaxon stated with a small shrug and a grin as he started to jog toward the door to catch up with the others.
After Practice
Practice went as to be expected, long drawling, extensive and repetitive but it was worth it. It was good for him. It gave Jaxon a place to put his emotions into, the emotions he hid. His anger, his frustration, his anxiety, all this pressure that he felt on him all the time. Football was his outlet. Football was how he disposed of that energy without exploding inside or at the people around him. Couldn't ruin his fathers creation. Himself.. After practice Jaxon hit the showers, changed into a grey hoodie and his gym bottoms and his custom Jordan's, it looked presentable enough for class but after classes he planned on pulling of his hoodie and just wear his cut off tank he had packed this morning which he put on underneath his hoodie. Saving the jeans he packed for after he had finished the workout at the gym.
During Class
Jaxon's mind wandered as he sat in his classes. He kissed ass towards the teachers per usual, tried to pay attention but most of the time ended up doodling on his papers or occasionally pulling out his phone to scroll through pointless notifications. Jaxon tried in school but the whole being talked to and writing down every word only to recite those words two weeks later pointless, not only that but stupid. It wasn't a learning method he responded well to, heck he didn't even consider it a learning method at all. The only class Jaxon did pay attention to was calculus. He sucked at math which meant passing the class was going to come harder to him, it meant he actually have to participate and try in this class. He didn't need another class on his fail record. Especially when he was supposed to graduate this year with Rev. So he actually participated, asked questions, tried to answer the problems but only when he knew his answer was correct. Couldn't make him look bad. Had to keep that reputation. It was before no time that they had flown through world history, calculus, AP English and AP biology. For a Monday those were bad classes and they weren't extremely difficult other than calculus.
After Class
Jaxon went through the motions of their routine, walk to their lockers, grab their backpacks head towards the doors to the parking lot to go to the gym. Same story, different day. Except it wasn't. Not only was Rev leaving early to go hang out with Elle but his siblings were also going to tag along. Which he didn't mind at all. Change was good. Jaxon clicked open his locker grabbing his backpack and slinging it lazily around his shoulder, grabbing his duffle in his hand before looking to Rev and waiting for him to close his locker. He followed behind him out the side doors to our cars with a relaxed pace, outside of school after everything with a time crunch was done on his schedule he took his time getting from point a to point b and their cars was a prime example.
As they got out the doors Jaxon paused briefly setting his backpack against the door along with his duffle bag as he pulled his hoodie up and off his body his cut off tank sliding up with it as he pulled it the rest of the way off before shoving the hoodie into his duffle bag and zipping it up "Ugh much better.. swear I was dying of heat in those classrooms all day" Jaxon groaned with a small sigh of relief as he picked back up his backpack and duffle before playfully bumping his shoulder into Rev as he looked towards their cars seeing what he could only assume was Rev's brother and sister. "What's the game plan again?" Jaxon questioned as they made their way to where the other two were standing.

Revalor groans as they exit, "Damn, it's hotter than it was this morning." He also pauses to tug his hoodie off. "Same, I think the AC is broken in those classrooms." He grabs his stuff and walks beside Jax towards the cars. "The game plan? Uh, we'll go to the gym. I know Ruina, my sister, she likes to stay in the gym for a while. She honestly might run again, so she'll probably be there longer than we will." He scratches his head, "And then, I'll probably leave after a couple hours to go hang with Elle." They are only a few feet away from Ayduin and Ruina who have both turned their attention to them.

"Revalor!"

He turns, Elle was jogging towards him. He shoots a brief look towards Jax, "Give me a second. Go on, Ayduin will introduce you to Ruina." He then heads off to meet Elle halfway. "Hey." Elle grins at him, "Hey, sorry, I was gonna text but then I saw you and decided to come say hi." Revalor grins back, "No, I'm good with that. I haven't gotten to see you today." Elle muses, "What do you think about Sonic?" Revalor lights up even more, "Sonic? I love Sonic. What time do you want to go?" Elle hums, "What do you think about five PM?" Revalor looks at his watch, it was just now three PM, perfect two hours at the gym. "I'll be at your house around 5."

Ayduin nods in greeting at Jax, "What's up, Jax. What's Revalor doing?" Ruina grins as she nudges her brother, "Rev has found his girlfriend, oh wait, as he says, his friend who's a girl." Ayduin laughs before nodding at Jax, "Okay, well. This is our younger sister, Ruina. Ruina, this is Revalor's best friend, Jaxon." Ruina flashes a brief smile, "Hi." She leans back against her car, her eyes flickering to her other brother, Revalor. Was she supposed to say something else? Introduce herself some more? God, she forgot how much she hated meeting new people, it honestly stressed her out.

Especially a one on one, meeting the volleyball, swim team, and her classmates had been a little easier since it was a group. She still hadn't been a huge fan, and had just kind of ducked her head and mumbled her introduction before heading off. But a one on one meeting always stressed her out more. Ayduin, thank goodness, noticed and took over. "So, any plans for tonight, Jax? I know Revalor won't be at the gym too long today. And I'll probably dip around the same time. You gonna stay longer?" Ruina internally sighs in relief, as she glances out towards where Revalor was still talking to Elle.

However, at that time, Revalor turns and starts back towards them. It only takes him like a minute to get over to them. "Hey, sorry, guys. Shall we head off? I've got till about 4:50 before I have to take off." Ayduin muses, "To go on a date." Revalor flushes, "Not a date." Ayduin smirks, "Sure, whatever you say. You've kissed Elle, cuddled her, hang out with her often." Revalor glares at his twin brother whose smirk deepens. Ruina slides in a smart remark, "But it's not a date and she's not your girlfriend." Revalor turns that glare on his sister, "What is this, teaming up?" He shoots a side look at Jax, "Look at what I have to deal with. They bully me." He throws his hands up in playful exasperation. Ruina hides a laugh, "Alright, Drama Queen, let's go."

-Gym-

She follows the boys inside, she managed to change before they got inside. She was in athletic shorts and a black athletic tank top. She grins as they enter, this town had an incredible gym she had to admit. It had an indoor track, not the biggest but it worked. It also had a lot of equipment, in all honesty? She was impressed, and it was free for students, which was awesome. Ayduin glances sideways at her, "Running first or last?" She shrugs, "I think last today." Revalor looks at Jax, "Spot me? I'm gonna bench first." Ayduin looks at him, "Rushing your workout today, Rev?" Ruina was already starting to stretch, her lean muscles straining as she stretches. "So he can go on his not date with his not girlfriend."

Revalor rubs his face, "Oh my god, will you guys ever drop it?" Ruina smirks as she pulls her right leg up to her chest, "Nope." Revalor groans, "Ruina." She laughs, "It's my job, as your sister, to annoy the hell out of you. Never forget that." Then her phone pings, she grabs it and glances at it. Immediately her playful attitude disappears. Which causes a chain reaction, her brothers take a step towards her. "Ruina?" She waves them off, her eyes flickering to Jax for a brief moment, as if reminding her brothers (and remembering herself) that they weren't alone. "Nothing, okay? I'm fine. Let's start. I'm gonna hit chest today. Ayduin, you need a spot at all today?"

Jaxon nods in agreement with an exhausted expression as he grips the bottom of his cut off, fanning it to get air up under his top "No for real they need to look into that" Jaxon groaned as he continued walking along the parking lot towards their row of cars as he listened to Rev speak. "Aight sounds good... " Jaxon trailed off before seeing Elle before she called out to Revalor and a smirk spread across his face as he gave a warm smile towards her and a small two finger wave out towards her before giving Revalor an approval nod of his head "Take your time lovebird" Jaxon teased in a playful tone before he turned back towards where Rev's siblings stood. He's seen Ayduin before so he wasn't shy about saying hi, not that he would be anyways.

Jaxon always had an outgoing nature. Jaxon popped his backpack and duffle bag into his passenger seat before he closed his door and rounded back to lean against his trunk like Ayduin and Ruina were. Jaxon gave a small nod to Ayduin before looking towards where Rev was with a small smirk as he glanced back to Ayduin "What do you think..." Jaxon teased before gesturing with his head towards the two in the parking lot which he couldn't only imagine was them discussing their date plans. Jaxon nods in agreement at Ayduin's commentary and he chuckles along with him "He needs to just grow a pair.. their basically dating already without the label" Jaxon agreed before shifting to look at both Ayduin and Ruina at his introduction of her and he gave her a quick up down once over before shooting her a small smile "hey, welcome to River Ridge .." Jaxon replied back before shifting his gaze away from her and back to Ayduin as he noticed her undesire to talk. That was fine. He didn't mind. Jaxon shrugged lightly pressing his hands into his short's pockets "I don't know man. Depending on how motivated I'm feeling will probably dictate how long I'm in the gym.. maybe I'll hit the park to go for a hike after or something. Whatta bout you guys?" Jaxon questioned making friendly conversation.

Jaxon shifts his attention as he hears the trampling foot steps of who he could only imagine was Revalor before he even looked up. He grinned cheekily taking in his friend's ecstatic expression and could take in the expression as the talk with Ellie went well. He listens to the sibling like banter and teasing just taking it in, it really made him wish he had a sibling. They all seemed really close. Jaxon smirked as Revalor brought him into it and he shrugged with a devious gleam in his eyes "To be honest, I agree with them." He stated with a small shrug before pushing off his bumper and agreeing that they should start heading off to the gym chuckling slightly at Ruina's response to Revalor's words.

At the gym

Jaxon walks into the familiar gym dabbing up the guys and saying hello to the girls that were at the front desk and the few regulars that were in the gym that he knew. His name was big around the town and his popularity was undeniable. So much so that his social life and status varied outside of school. Jaxon looks to Revalor at his question and he nods with a smirk "Well someone's gotta be there to catch that bar if you don't PR" Jaxon murmured before glancing towards Ayduin and Ruina as they started their teasing about Rev's date again and he chuckled as he leans his arm on Rev's shoulder "hey so the man wants to look pumped up for his date.. ain't nothing wrong about it bud" Jaxon teased as he turned to start heading towards the bench.

Jaxon hesitated as he heard the phone notification go off and he went to turn around and make a joke about Elle texting Revalor again but then he stopped himself as he took in the situation. He watched Ruina' smile fade, he saw the concern seep into her brothers faces. He could sense the sudden tension, the sudden worry. Revalor didn't talk much about his sister, he knew vaguely about his family but not enough to know more about his sister other than she had moved here finally and was transferring to their school. Jaxon's eyes scanned over Ruina silently sensing the hesitation to talk to her brother's. He watched as her eyes met his before she looked away and he knew it was because of him. She was hesitating because he was there. Jaxon rubbed his hand uneasily against his neck as he glanced away "I'm uh.. gonna set up the bench for you so you guys can.. talk" Jaxon murmured gently his eyes flickering to Revalor's with a small reassuring gaze before taking a last glance towards Ruina.

Jaxon shifted away spacing himself from them and whatever was going on with their sister. She needed them and they were concerned for her. He could sense it and he knew he was the only thing in the way of them finding out what was wrong was him. So he eliminated himself from the equation. Jaxon made his way to the benches as he went and grabbed the weights and the clamps to hold them closed on the bar. He set up the bar sliding on two 40lb weights on either side before claiming them tightly on the bar and adjusting it to where Rev would be able to comfortably grab it. Jaxon brought over extra weights to easily grab them and add them if needed while he occasionally glanced toward the family to see how they were doing without really being involved.
