Ruzzon could feel it. He knew. He had to. As much as she did anyway, except she was a random demon. To her, he was everything. Everything she had been looking for to get exactly what she needed. You'd think she'd much rather continue making Earth her favorite place, but she longed for Hell. The souls. The respect. The feeling of being the most powerful being. Maybe even more so then Lucifer.

Well, she had already planned to gain power from him too, but she had to focus on what was at hand here: Caelan Cifarelli.

"Join you?" She questioned, her eyes sparking. She smirked. "That would be nice, wouldn't it?" She added, almost hinting at the fact he would live long enough to do so. Well, maybe... "You really don't have anyone? That's hard to believe," she said with an unsure chuckle.

She would in fact have anyone almost... every weekend? To do whatever, didn't always have to end up a one night stand. Sometimes she'd keep the same one around for about a week or two if she felt like they were worthy of that extra attention. But not to her surprise, most really weren't. Nobody could every be enough for Ruzzon, the Bringer of Death. Not when what was enough for her wasn't completed yet.

Ruzzon continued to follow him. She wasn't sure where they were considering all she had really known was the city. This was uncharted territory for her. A dangerous place for a young woman... at least that's what it would look like had any mortal been lingering around.

Ruzzon nodded. "If I was smart I'd say that park is your go-to place then, no? Being so close and all," she replied. "It's been decent. The people around here are nice which is a bonus. Back home, not so much." Ruzzon had evened her pace with the man, still only a tad slower as her legs were not as long but she was practically parallel with him at this point.

"This gas station is further than I thought..." her voice trailed off as Caelan turned down a much more quieter path. It looked to be well traversed. "Is this the way, Caelan?" She then asked, still playing into the mortal disguise.

Ha! He caught on. The stench was probably riveting and there was no getting rid of it. She had fallen behind him again, still following. His wings ruffled beneath his leather jacket. Who the fuck willingly had wings? Well... probably not his choice. Was it anyones? He was born this way, Ruzzon just took over whoever she pleased more or less.

Ruzzon stopped in her tracks before Cae turned around to just spit out the question. Ruzzon rolled her eyes. "Ugh, you know, you could've made this so much more easier. Just went along with it. You're half human, you'd have to be semi-stupid like them in the very least." Ruzzon huffed in annoyance, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'm glad you caught on though. I think you knew the moment I approached you. The same way I knew where to follow you from that café you stopped at earlier. I don't particularly like caffeine personally. Makes me feel... not me," Ruzzon then laughed. She really wasn't her - as in Sammi. Oh, the irony.

"What we can discuss is what you have though. Because honey," she approached him and touched his face, a large smile appearing on her face. "You have something I need and from demon to - well - half demon, we know how deals work. We can work something out. It must get exhausting working so hard to keep yourself hidden away. I know I'm not the first demon to approach you either. But I doubt any other one has seen your potential. What you can do for the species. It's amazing, really. One being can change everything," Ruzzon continued on, removing her hand from her face and simply looking up at him.

For a moment she could pray that he didn't take anything as a sign of aggression. While she would be ready to grab the blade hidden beneath her dress at any moment, there wouldn't exactly be a reason for an attack. Of course, as a demon herself, she knew how unpredictable they could be.

"I can cut you a deal. You give me what you have, and you can meet the infamous Lucifer. Yes! The man who made me and the man who produced what you partially are. Like meeting your daddy but... he's more like the father of all of us." Ruzzon continued on. How easily swayed could he be? How many false deals and promises could she make? Would he even fall for any?

If he did that might've just made her life ten times easier, but the excitement would be so mundane.

“I really don't. I'm not exactly the type of person who would stick with a partner for too long,” Caelan shrugged. “Though going out can be fun.”

Even when the nephilim did go out, he rarely took anyone back with him. He hadn't gone out since he had found Everdrama. Watching people on TV was more entertaining to him than messing with humans. Well… that depended on the show but for now that's how it was.

The problem was that Everdrama was ending soon and that meant he would have to go back to old habits. He didn't have to go mess with humans now though, now there was a demon. The demon in front of him.

Caelan nodded along to her talking about how she found the city so far, and also assumed the nodding would answer her question about the park being his go-to place.

Well that's a bit rude.’ Cae narrowed his eyes at her. He felt slightly insulted, only a little bit but calling humans stupid felt insulting. He was half human, but that didn't mean he'd be as stupid as them, and they weren't that dumb unless you used magic on them… which happens every time a demon or angel interacts with them.

“First, I'm gonna stop you right there,” Cae sighed. “I've had demons offer me the same thing, and it's just not something I'm interested in.”

He wasn't…annoyed. He was just.. disappointed? Almost every demon that came to him offered the exact same thing; meeting Lucifer. He had no interest in such a thing, he didn't need to meet someone who was such a bitch.

Plus, why would she know him? Caelan had it in his head that lower class demons didn't get to meet the king of hell.

He looked her over more carefully and decided she didn't seem like more than a mosquito, in the whole scheme of hell. She didn't seem too powerful.

I may be judging too quickly…’

“What would I have that you would want? If you want it so badly, you could at least be creative when you make a deal. Give it a little flourish, y’know? Everyone offers the same deal.”

It only now crossed his mind that if she was after something that she considered important, he was making it a whole lot more difficult than she probably thought it would be. This gave him a small sense of delight. He was still expecting some sort of attack from her, even more so now that he refused her deal offer.

Caelan looked at the trees behind her, “I'm assuming you don't need to go to the gas station anymore?”

“It seems a lot like you just wanted to make a deal, easier to do it away from people so not at the park.” He focused back on her.

She may have not known that he knew what she was at that point but it was still clear that her goal was similar no matter what, because she did know what he was the entire time.

“If you'd like to go somewhere more comfortable and less out in the cold, we don't have to stay here in the forest.” Caelan brought up how she had been acting cold before. Maybe she'd stick to that, probably not.

Truth be told, it didn't matter where they were in the city. So long as Caelan stayed within the cities limits, and a bit outside them, he knew the place like the back of his hand. He would always have the advantage, landscape wise. They could either go to his place, the cafe from before or any random place along the way. Any other place wouldn't give them full freedom to talk about whatever she wanted to talk about, and for him to question more about her.

Ruzzon clicked her tongue and shook her head, almost like she was in denial. "But do you know what makes you so special, Cae? It's not that you're a unique being. It's not... well, not exactly your powers. It's what you were put here to do." Ruzzon had stopped in front of him. "You have a bigger purpose than anyone could every have imagined. You are the key to... everything!" She exclaimed.

Ruzzon huffed slightly. Perhaps she was being too discrete. But curiosity killed the cat and that was exactly what she had been looking for. Was it not? Her entire life on this planet came down to Caelan - the man in front of her. And she would eventually get what she had dreamed of eventually. No matter the cost.

"You want a different deal?" She raised her eyebrows. "Then what do you want? What's in your life that you've been missing? A partner? A mortal to fall in love with? More friends? A real family? Know the man that put you here? You ask and you shall receive," Ruzzon said convincingly. Who knew what she would actually try to give him had he requested anything in particular.

However, she decided that in this moment, honesty would more than likely be her best bet.

"You're probably wondering why me - a banished demon from Hell - is offering you a deal like this. And I know you've encountered others before me. But, this is different. Very different. You were born with a gift. Or curse, whichever way you'd prefer to put it. You have a certain power that nobody, not even myself - a true demon - could possess." Well, not yet anyway. "Listen, Caelan. You're part of a bigger picture. You have a prophecy to fulfill. A destiny. Your fate is in your own hands, but you have to decide to make that move." Ruzzon continued on.

The main problem with this was that Ruzzon herself wasn't even entirely sure of what this prophecy was. She had done extensive research on Nephilims, and it just so happened that Caelan fit the profile. That's when she began looking for him. Whether or not he believed her was up to him, but Ruzzon would pray that he would consider her words. It had to make sense. He could no longer feel so lost. Ruzzon found it sad, really.

Ruzzons attention had broken from her thoughts and back to him when he mentioned leaving the park. "We can leave if you accept. If not, I'll take my own leave. Just know this is not our last encounter, Nephilim," she stated.

Ruzzon tried recalling her research. Her mind was quite clouded at this point, almost as if being around him was draining her. Was he really that strong or was it simply the banishment mixed with his aura making her feel this weak? Regardless, she pictured the books she was reading and the witch she had encountered. Far out of the city limits. The witch was old, part of an old coven. She had heard Ruzzon's story however and decided to help her.

A Nephilim is the key to a particular balance that the world has never seen before. Half demon or angel, they possess the power to bring chaos to an end and peace rule all of the realms. Their power is unmatched. Most keep their true identities hidden but the defining factor of knowing if they are what you're looking for is how they make you feel. They have a tendency to wear off on other celestial beings.

The banishment definitely wasn't helping her out in this situation at all.
