Tali sipped on her drink popping her brown sugar balls with her teeth, it had to be her favorite part about boba was having texturized bite of flavor in it. There was nothing like it in Coru probably because rarely anyone in Coru would willing want to drink some so unusual and uncommon among their species. Talia's eyes met the man's as she still didn't know how to address him before he had asked her about her travels to get there. She had to rethink what she was going to say as she realized most human towns have boba. Talia ran a hand through her hair before glancing out the shop window "I mean it's a pretty far distance away but I get here pretty quickly. Its worth it though. I come here almost every morning atleast when they open... I'm usually in town before they open but there's a park near by so I'm usually hanging around there." Talia rambled before bitting her lip as she figured he probably didn't care much about her daily life update or what her routine was. "I haven't seen you around here before. Do you not live in the area?" She asked before she listened as he explained the drink he had gotten.
Although Talia had been there many times and has ventured throughout their boba menus there was still many flavors that she hadn't tried. It didn't help that they kept making new flavors aswell. Talia listened to him explain why he picked the flavor and she smiled slightly as he answered her question most likely unintentionally by him mentioning Chatime was a new place for him. "I'm not much for the artificial flavors, if a place can make an authentic strawberry flavor that tastes like strawberries than I'd get it but I guess I can be a little picky" Talia said laughing slightly to herself.

She looked to her drink and wiped her straw with her top cleaning it off "You can try mine if you want, you might like it more than your strawberry one" Talia offered before adding "if you want I mean" she clarified before looking to the menu. Gazing at all the flavors as she wondered why he'd pick strawberry if he wasn't that fond of strawberry flavored items to begin with.
"I usually choose from their smoothies but I've had a few of their coffee drinks and their actually really good, especially with the coffee jellies. Their so odd it's like bitting into jello but it tastes like a straight up expresso bean." Talia explained softly before she scratched at her wrist lightly. She hoped she wasn't rambling to much or was being annoying. She has been told by a majority of her friends or even acquaintances had told her she talks to much. Way to bring off a first impression. By blabbing his ear off.
Talia once again spoke to try and take the conversation off of her and for him to be able to talk a bit about himself. "So what brings you around here?" Talia asked curiously.

Talia smiled at his unamused tone as he had mentioned that he may try a different flavor if he ever came back there again which in her eyes meant I don't plan on coming back here unless I have to. But she shrugged it off as what else was there to do, she couldn't beg him to come back there nor would she. She barely knew him, she hadn't even gotten to know his name yet if he was even planning on telling her. Talia had smiled softly as the man had mentioned that he didn't think it was half bad "Told you." Talia said smugly. Although he hadn't out right said that he liked it he didn't not say he liked it. She considered it as a win win situation for her so she took that small victory as an accomplishment. Talia twisted the singular ring on her pointer finger as she heard that his failed meeting wasn't all that bad due to the fact that he had met her. However the way he had worded it sounded off to her like he wanted to keep his distance by the way he referred to her as a stranger. Even though...well she was a stranger. He wasn't wrong about that. Talia would have normally over thought the entire ordeal whether he actually was having a good time or if he was just pretending as to be nice however in the moment she wasn't particularly focused on overthinking her interactions with the stranger. After all it was just like any other day with a stranger that she'd decide to get to know, eventually they'd go their separate ways and she'd only seem him once and awhile. That's how it worked with all the others. However he didn't live there or near the area so who knew if she'd see him again. No reason to worry about a man she just met anyways when all their probably gonna be is acquaintances.
Talia zoned out as she played with her ring and wandered into her thoughts before the males voice caught her attention. Talia looked to him taken aback by his proposal, she couldn't tell if he was joking or not but based on how he ended the question it seemed like he was almost weary to ask it in the first place. It showed that he was being genuine and wasn't just pulling her leg. Talia's face lit up as she pushed back her hair slightly None of the acquaintances she'd ever incountered had asked her to show her around at all let alone hang out. "Yea of course I can show you around, I was just gonna head back home after the coffee shop anyways but showing you around sounds a lot more enjoyable than a boring flight... I mean drive not flight I don't live that far away" Talia said catching herself with a small nervous laugh with the accidental mention of a flight before she quickly went to look past her words getting out of her chair throwing out her cup before leaning against the wall with anticipation "Shall we Mr?" Talia asked with a grin as she awaited to hear his name and his response to their purposed adventure ahead of them. How exciting. Although she had gathered a few friends in Coru and a few friends in town she rarely hung out with them and as for friendly acquaintances they had never gone with her further than the coffee shop. It was unusual for Talia and she was slightly suspicious as to why he wanted to see the park considering he was a business man but she wasn't to judge. It was nice having some company once and awhile.
