Maverick|Male|5yrs|Belgian Malinois|M: Audrey At the sound of Audrey's whistle, Maverick's ears perked up and raced after them, head tilting at the motorbike. Though when he spotted the phone raising to their ear and she began to walk in a circle, Mav quickly followed after her with clear confusion in his brown eyes. Admittedly when Audrey stopped, the dog was feeling quite dizzy, almost tripping over himself to stand next to them again. The Belgian Malinois's tail wagged as he received a pet and a 'good boy' . That was the best part of the job, or so Maverick thought. ««»» He managed to find himself sitting back down on his haunches, occasionally glancing around to cure his boredom, that was until a horrible screeching sound made his audits pin back against his cranium. He saw the dirty truck's doors fling open and, at the mention of his name, he broke out into a sprint to hop into the seat. ««»» Maverick was the first one to jump out of the truck and he ran into the house, of course after the door was opened. He headed straight for the water bowl in the living room, lapping the liquid up for a few seconds. Mav then began to sniff around quite aggressively, the leftover water on his chin leaving a small trail behind him like a snail. |

Audrey Senita|24 Genderfluid (she/they) | Handler| Mentions Maverick and her dad. Audrey watched her dad do his usual routine when he opened the door. He locked the door, floated to the kitchen snd made a black coffee and then floated back to his study , it was just a step forwards out to the kitchen and then left . Audrey herself hadn't been in there, he would be working there until midnight usually. They have had w glimpse at what it looks like through the black blinds that surround the glass study. Black chair and white desk with a huge oak bookshelf behind him. And his coat hanger in the background . It was cozy but looked very solemn and business like.
// Audrey blinked to bring themselves back Into reality and looked at the time. Audrey trudged to the coffee machine and whilst it made a plain black coffee, Indentical to the one her dad had just gotten. They looked in the fridge, microwave Mac n cheese or boiled potatoes and pasta. Audrey stood there freezing from the temperature if the fridge , just thinking and pondering about what to have . A small but sharp ding sounded that her coffee was ready and she squealed in delight . She poured into a coffee mug with a lid, just in case she fell asleep. She put the Mac n cheese in the microwave and hoped it was going to be vegan and good quality. She added some canned vegetables to the mix and a little bit of bread . Just for nutrition as she wasn't entirely sure Mac n cheese from the local shop was good quality and high in nutrients. People sometimes said she as obsessed with nutrition but she wasn't , they just cared about their health. Whilst it spun around in the microwave. She looked over to Maverick and smiled. // Maverick was exploring which was a good sign so hopefully he wouldn't notice her partner's scent that still occasionally lingered. It was the same German Shepherd sized crate. She had a duplicate of Maverick's bed, maybe for the new German Shepherd Audrey was going to adopt. Although Maverick's stuff had a black swirly writing saying "Maverick" not that dogs could read yet or knowingly to the scientists that had studied dogs and the abilities .
// Audrey cursed loudly and hoped her dad didn't hear. "Sorry Maverick, forgot about your dinner...You must be hungry after all that exercise with Whiskey" Audrey rummage around the top draw that also had a padlock on it , after her current partner, she would t take any risks. Audrey heaved down the bag and nearly fell off the countertop backwards. They got out his silver bowl had poured his kibble out until it was the right amount. Audrey walked down and said "There we go Maverick" They hoped the canine would enjoy it as Audrey had spent ages trying to find the kibble that was very similar to the one they ate all their basic training.
// Sighing In relief, they grabbed the Mac n cheese and their coffee and did a happy sort of walk towards the sofa where they flopped onto the sofa's matching fluffy grey blanket and clicked on the tv. They kept na eye on Maverick because one , if they choked badly, they would have to get up and help and two if Maverick wanted to come up on the sofa. Audrey smiled and Maverick and thought of all the adventures they could have together. |

-Time skip- Whiskey opened her eyes and let out a big yawn as she stretched her paws forward and arched her back, she then leaned forward with her hind legs stretched out behind her. She stood and shook, her collar jingling ass he did so. Whiskey had awoken earlier than her partner so she padded over to her while she was asleep in her bed and rested her head on the side, nudging the blankets and her hand. It was time for breakfast and a trip outside. Then hopefully back to the station for her first real day of work. |

Audrey Senita|24 Genderfluid (she/they) | Handler| Mentions Maverick and her dad. *DING DING DOO DO DING DING * Audrey startled awake and groaned at her alarm malfunctioning as usual. As they got up , Audrey smiled at the familiar clicks and cracks and pops of her many bones in her body as he got up. Audrey flung her fluffy deer pajamas off and put her K-9 Handler officer. She made sure to spend more time straightening their hair and maki by sure they looked smart. Audrey sighed In Relief to see her newly ironed uniform wasn't crumpled. She had rushed die stairs at midnight to wash and iron her uniform as she remembered it was paw and mud splattered and also was crumpled in a heap on her floor. Now it looked like it hadn't had any of those.
// Audrey straightened up in the Murrow and went downstairs calling "Morning Maverick!" To her new canine partner . It wasn't as early as yesterday but it was before the school and work rush so she didn't get stuck in traffic . She made two coffees then made another two Carmel flavored ones . And then a black one for now so she could sip it in the car she was borrowing today. Jangling the keys, she called out to her dad that she was heading to work with the truck and made sure Maverick was inside the car with one of his toys and his blankets plus being strapped in with his doggy seatbelt which attached to his harness she got for the car . Audrey couldn't tell if Mav liked it or not as she was concentrating on the road. It was the first time she she out him in it and they had looked back to see his reaction. |

The alarm beeped quietly, hidden under a blanket. Kaiser cracked an eye open before groaning inwardly. Getting up, he fished the alarm clock out before turning it off and heading for the shower. He half expected the phone to ring but wouldn't be surprised if it didn't. Yesterday was not quite what he expected. Kaitlyn, she said her name was, offered him up a tour but neither of them had been able to take it. The little shop had an unexpected visit from the firefighters as a grill was left unattended to with a particular sandwich on it.
Kai had left a card with his number on it for the girl, suggesting they talk later. Whether she does or not, it didn't matter to him. He had his mind set on a particular house near a museum. He had researched most of the day yesterday and staked it out last night. Kai finished getting ready before checking his phone. He had a bit of time before the owners left the place to grab some breakfast. If he was correct, they would be leaving for an appointment with a client. Said client told them that he wanted to donate art to their museum but wasn't sure exactly of what it was worth due to it being a family heirloom. Said client was also roughly two hours away from the museum in the first place, in a little town that was off maps.
Which said client was now heading out the door. He grinned at himself, he had wanted to lay low, but what was staying low when you had a house to yourself before the owners were smart enough to figure out they had been conned? He slipped out of his apartment, grabbing a bagel as he went. He didn't need to stop at that coffee shop, definitely didn't want to get spotted by that girl. She had looked innocent but there was something that made him paranoid about her. Oh well, time to see what he could grab in the short time he had. Kaiser headed down the street, his face with a neutral expression as if he was headed for work. |

Phantom Ace (Phantom) | Female (she/her)| 4yrs| Ger.ShepxBloodhound|Mentions: Cassie and Open Phantom had woken up after a long sleep. Curling over, grumbling about an alarm bleeping in the r background. Wait what? She sat up straight and immediately her tail started to wag. Phantom had realized she was no longer in the kennels at the K-9 station but at her new home . Her Handler's home . Now Where is Cassie ? Isn't that her alarm going off? She got up and did a huge cat stretch and walked over to her food bowl and snuggled around for any remains of her dinner last night. Phantom found a little few bites of kibble and that filled up a little . Her new kibble was saltier than the one , she had become used to so she sniffed around until she found her water and drank thirsty from the saltier taste. Phantom knew from the alarm beeping , Cassie had not awoken . Phantom didn't want her to be late or herself to be late on ther first proper day to work so she let out two loud-ish barks to let Cassie know it was time to go. She eyed up the lead she had on a hook or something. Phantom circled around thinking until she went a few paw steps away and then leapt at the lead , swinging it free from whatever was hanging it up . She sat by the door awaiting with her collar still on from last night, lead in her mouth .
