Ocean. Felt sudden sharp pain in her stomach. She winced kneeling down .Barking, she yelped hard"what's happening" she cried out

Lunar ran over, "Do you want me to have Apple come, or do you want do it yourself?" Lunar forgot to tell Ocean what was happening, "You're having your pups! We need help over here, for when the pups are born!" Lunar ran to her den and grabbed herbs for Ocean, "Here, bite down on this stick. It'll be fine" Pup births always scared Lunar, especially after we almost lost Stella.

Apollo bounded out to the middle of camp, "I was looking for Jake, he's missing!" He noticed that Ocean had called a meeting, but she wasn't on the rock anymore.

Luna and cobra stopped and looked at ocean her pups where coming... they both turned luna hurried to grabbed her pups to make sure the nursery was not crouded

Apollo crouched by Ocean, "What was it that you were going to talk about?" He hoped he had become deputy, but he understood if Eskimo did instead. Apollo just wanted to find Jake.

"No I don't want apple. He is hiding something . " she winced a little more biting the stick in her mouth.

"Okay, I understand. Apollo, you stay here so you can help with the pups." Lunar woofed, "Push!" [How many pups will there be?]

She tried to do exactly what she was told. "Apple and sunflower might be mates. " she said through the pain but before she new it a little puppy was curled beside her. " apollo, to answer your question, I was going to let you and Eskimo share the duties. I will be confined to the nursery probably until the pups aren't nursing any more

"Apollo! Lick that pup warm," Lunar barked handing the pup to Apollo. Apollo grabbed the pup and licked it vigorously, "We need at least two more dogs over here!" Lunar's barked echoed across the camp, and Pluto and Jupiter ran over. "Wait here," Lunar said, "I'll give you a pup to lick until it gets warm when Ocean has more. Oh, and congrats, Apollo on being temporary deputy with Eskimo."

Eskimo dipped her head "i won't let you down Ocean, thank you for trusting me it is truly an honor" she woofed stepping out of the way close enough to help if needed but not wanting to crowd
