|Sundown|M|Apprentice Medic|Raven|M:Night,Oreithyia|Sundown nodded, grateful that he didn’t have to face the dark waters. “I’ll see you back at camp, sir.” He said, nodding, before turning around and pushing through a thick bush.
He picked up a simple, slow lope through the forest, the light quickly vanishing, almost making him feel like it was to swallow him up.
He was determined though, he must pick up his herbs, and talk to Oreithyia. He was worried about the wolf that he had seen slumped by the tree. He grinded his teeth as he did a sharp turn to get into the path in a lope still. It didn’t go as well as he had hoped, and resulted in him spinning out of control, and sliding out on the mud. He got up quickly, hoping that no one had seen, embarrassed.
Rather scared of the things that could lurk in the dark, he quickly collected his herbs, careful of the drop. He approached it with caution, and extended his neck to its full extent to grab the herbs.
Once he had them, he sat back and spun around on his hindquarters like a horse cutting a cow. He then trotted back down the path to collect the rest of them, jumping at every little sound and movement beyond the path. His breath was shaky and he felt terrified. He just wanted to run away from the fear, leaving the herbs behind in his wake. He resisted the urge, and put on his bravest face, which couldn’t be much as he didn’t feel brave.
Sundown entered camp, grateful that the herbs had been collected without issues. He let out his breath that he hadn’t realized he had been holding, relaxed his shoulders that he hadn’t realized had been hunched, and calmed his beating heart.
He headed to the Medic den, and called out before entering, not wanting to startle his mentor.
“Oreithyia?” He waited for a couple of seconds before entering. He busied himself to putting all of the herbs in the right spot, taking a deep breath of all of the lovely smells that floated around the den.
|Illusion|M|Lead Hunter|Eastern|M: Rags, Hondo, Marbled, Brecken|
Illusion stood up as the female Beta came into the den. He bowed his head respectfully, but had a cold expression on his face.
"Illusion, please gather up our wayward hunters. I am hoping that we can engage in a nighttime hunt, so everyone needs to be here."
“Yes Ma’am, I will see that done.” He said, flatly. He glanced back at Hondo as he left the den. He didn’t want to leave Hondo’s side. He had been perfectly content where he was. He let out a sigh once out of Rags earshot. He’d much rather go and find Killjoy, but he wasn’t to argue with his Beta female.
He sniffed out Brecken and Marbled’s scent and followed down the hill, where they were trotting up it, tails wagging, and tongues hanging out.
“You two need to come back to camp.” He said, in a cold tone, his eyes narrowed.
“Oh no, I’m sorry. Did we get you in trouble?” Marbled asked, trotting right past him. Ugh! How she reminded him so much of her brother. It annoyed him. He had never had siblings, and always had wanted some.
“Quit with the sass Marbled.” Illusion growled. He wasn’t in the mood to deal with her.
“Sorry.” She said, not turning back. He picked up a trot, and fell in stride with Brecken.
“I’m sorry.” Brecken whispered to him. Illusion shook his head. Whatever, he didn’t care.
“Just keep Marbled under control, would you?”
“Yeah, I will.” Brecken nodded.
They entered camp, and Illusion sat there, watching the two of them who laid near by under a large tree. He wasn’t going to let them out of his view.
|Killjoy|M|Alpha|Eastern|M:Orion,River,Aquila,Rags|
Killjoy nodded to River
“Orion, listen to River, and don’t let Aquila get hurt. She will have your pelt.” He said, almost teasingly. “Ready?” He asked standing up.
He led the way to the shallow part. It was a very nice, calm part of the river that they should not have too many issues getting across, if everyone put their weight together.
“Be careful, the pebbles under paw can get a bit slick, but it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.” He wadded out first, making sure that he could watch River to make sure that she was alright. He was just barely ahead of her, making it so that if she slipped, he could quickly, and easily grab her without straining his back.
The water went to his knees, and was rather cold. He ignored it, and walked on, slowly.
Halfway through, he turned around to check on Orion and Aquila. He kind of liked Orion, and would hate to see his pelt hanging in the Raven pack’s camp to dry. He chuckled as he thought of that. It was so random, and why was he thinking of that when he should be focusing on other things?
He shook the thought away, and continued on, slowly.
