Silver | Female | Fire Student | Energy Manipulation | M: Layne, Skylar & Lyka {Ind} Silver stepped towards Layne as she settled on the ground beside him, keeping a fair distance to not crowd him or make him uncomfortable. "I guess the simplest way to put it is there's two groups at this school. You've got the Thunder group, then there's is in the Fire group. Think of them kind of like houses.. Skylar is the Thunder leader, the one you were letting off at in that hallway.. and Lyka is the Fire leader, she's in charge of our group." Silver spoke in a soft and sweet voice, her gaze set upon the grass as her fingers wrapped around and played with the grass idly. "I know they're young, but their hearts are definitely in the right place. Most of the time. They just need time to gain experience is all.." She brought her knees to her chest as she half rested her chin on-top, a thoughtful look in her eyes. ° She turned to gaze at Layne as she half nodded as if agreeing. "I feel you there. Mind you, it was the other way around for me." She spoke as her eyes trailed back to the grass. "I didn't want to come, but my parents insisted it'd be good for me. What good it's doing for me and my abilities.. I have to stay up late to practice what I want to learn and miss majority of what they want me to learn." Her brows furrowed a little as she glared a bit at the ground. ° "But I'm sure there's still more we could both learn from this place. One small step at a time." She offered her best comforting smile, reaching out as she went to pat his shoulder but paused, bringing her hand away partially. "...Skylar left that for you did he?" She asked as she nodded towards the mark left on Laynes shoulder, her gaze intense as she hovered her hand back over the mark, her eyes glowing a faint green as she put a small trickle of her left over healing energy into it, watching as the mark turned a little less red and irritated looking. ° "Sorry it's not much. Just a small piece of someone else's magic I diverged and stored aside for myself a while ago.." Silver drew her hand back to her knees as her eyes wandered over Layne's wings. "Your wings are pretty magnificent.. Must make clothes shopping a bit hard.." Silver teased a little as she tried to lighten the mood.

Skylar|Male|Thunder Leader|Power: Lightning and AnimalShifter|M:Layna,Silver(ind) I decide to leave everyone alone for the night and go to my dorm eat some steak and sleep a little. * I wake up to a shower running and I hope it's Pierce so I use the other shower turning into a wolf so I clean my form better and I dry off walking outside the school for fresh air hoping I don't see that one kid Layne again. Talking to myself I walk to the forest.

Layne Marie // 17 // Male // Fire(?) Student // Respawn/Winged // M: Silver, Skylar/Lyka(ind) "If their hearts really were in the right place, I wouldn't have had the day that I've had," Layne's immediate response to her attempting to defend the kids was a tart and snappy response. His sapphire eyes flashed with distaste. "I don't want any part of either ... group or house or anything. Not if they're supposed to be in charge. Absolutely not." His hand ran through his blond hair, pushing it back from his face as he finally looked up at the sky. Layne wasn't a leader. He was used to following his brothers. Even if they had differing opinions too. Even still, he knew he had no intention of following them anyways. He finally glanced over as the soft rush of a refreshing cool touched the angry red mark on his shoulder. "Thanks," Layne whispered. Layne looked toward the forests and shadows before tilting his head. "Mind going on a walk with me?"

Silver | Female | Fire Student | Energy Manipulation | M: Layne Silver leaned back a bit as she looked past Layne over to the forest line, her small smile growing ever so much bigger at the idea of finally stretching her legs after the day she had had, though, nothing quite as bad as Layne's by the sounds of it. "Sure, I could do with the fresh air, and the peace." She hauled herself to her feet, hunching over as she dusted some grass fragments from her clothes. ° "We should still have a few hours of daylight to burn, so you can lead the way. I know most of thid forest like the back of my hand." She gave a prideful beaming grin as she watched Layne, waiting for him to lead their journey into the forest. Silver's heart raced with excitement, the idea of getting to be outside again was a massive relief to her.

Lyka|F|Fire Leader|Power- Animal Shifter, Fire controller|M: Open I decided to get to bed early, before I got mad again. I hoped I wouldn't see the feathery guy again, even if he was in my group. I didn't really feel like apologizing, even though maybe I'd been a bit harsh. His response had made it clear though, at least to me, that he was trouble and that I'd have to be stern. Especially how he'd called me a worthless 12 year old.

Layne Marie // 17 // Male // Fire(?) Student // Respawn/Winged // M: Silver Well, at least someone knew what they were doing and at this point in time, Layne understood a bit more why Silver was a little bit on the testy side. If she had to actually listen to what literal children said? Oh, Layne would lose his mind. He already had, as showed. But he wasn't afraid of rocking the boat. Dawson had taught him how to stand up for himself--and what was actually right. Much to the chagrin of everyone else. Layne shrugged loosely, looking up into the sky. "A few hours at least," he agreed and took a few steps forward. His eyebrows furrowed once again--this time more thoughtful than angry or irritated. "I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot more time out here than I probably want to admit. Especially--ugh--I'm going to have to get my classes refigured so that I don't have to see those two ever again. I'm not listening to immature kids--they don't control me, I'm almost an adult and I know better than they do." The charred hole in his shirt near his shoulder was proof enough of that concept. "They can go stick their heads in the sand," Layne grumbled. "And take a deep breath. I'm here to learn ... something. I'm pretty sure I'm here just because of what I am, not what I can do." His sapphire eyes flicked back before he turned fully to face Silver. "What... exactly is your ability, if you don't mind me asking?"

Silver | Female | Fire Student | Energy Manipulation | M: Layne "Oh uh huh-!? Me? Oh um." Silvers cheeks turned a bit pink from being put on the spot about her ability, clearing her throat softly as she determined the easiest way to explain it. "Okay, bare with me here.." She rubbed the back of her neck absentmindedly as she furrowed her brows a bit. ° "I call it Energy Manipulation, I can somewhat... Alter..? Certain things around me. I can fluctuate heat for myself and in closed spaces, I can act as a median for our of control powers where I drew it in and disperse it safely.. and I can diverge other people's abilities, so if someone shot a lighting bolt or a fireball at me, I can alter its intended course and veer it to the left causing it to miss." Silvers gaze fell thoughtful as she reran over her words in her mind. ° "Yeah, that's pretty much the gist of it.. It's nothing flashy and most of my ability relies on outside sources to work. Back at the mainland I was next to as normal as everyone else because of it." Her words carried a small tone of disappointment as she recalled her time back 'Home.' ° Her hand fell away from the back of her neck as she let it fall back to her side before she tucked it inside the pocket of her jacket again. "What about you? Other than the obvious of course.. U-Unless that's all there is to it! That-! Is absolutely incredible too-!" Silver became a bit panicked as she realised how her words might have come off, making it sound as if she may have higher expectations. Not that she of all people could ever judge people's abilities when her own is almost an imitation and annoying diversion at most.

Layne Marie // 17 // Male // Fire(?) Student // Respawn/Winged // M: Silver Layne nodded slowly as she began to explain her abilities. They were strong, powerful even, widely useful in a variety of situations. Especially there at the school but, he could see them being less useful and evident on the Mainland. But it seemed so cool, nonetheless. Even if it wasn't flashy at all? It was still so cool. "Wings," Layne agreed quietly. "But..." he rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, the best way to describe it is Respawning--like lives in a video-game. As far as I know, that one is hereditary. My grandfather had it, my dad did too and so do some of my brothers." Jasper didn't but Dawson did. Jasper and Dawson were full brothers but Layne? Nope. He was more of a half-sibling technically. "We--I can technically die... but I'll just come right back. As far as we know, it's... unlimited. It usually goes until you reach ninety and nine," Layne lifted one hand and picked at the leaves overhead, turning it over in his fingers. "It's... yeah. It's kind of the same. Not really that obvious, the wings--oh man, yeah. You'd have to be blind and deaf to not know they're there."
