Jasper Sterling ~ 1st Year ~ Female ~ Dragon: Maggot ~ M: Kate - Jasper smiled, " Yes I am!" She held out her hand to shake the girls hand, " The name's Jasper Sterling, but you can just call me Jaz." Maybe this girl could be her friend! She tried to think of the girls name, "Isn't your name Kathy- wait no... I know! Your name is Kate right?" Jasper hoped that was her name, she didn't want to sound like a fool on the first day of school.

Kate/1st/13/f/Aithusa/M: Jaz Kate smiled as she shook the girls hand. She seemed nice as she introduced herself. Kate then laughed a bit as the girl tried to remember her name. "Yep thats me, Kate. Well actually-" Kate was about to tell her that technically it wasnt her REAL name but she decided to save that for later. "Its nice to meet you Jaz. Have you met your dragon? I pray yours is nicer than mine." Kate chuckled as she again thought of her dragon. She then shivered though because those thoughts included the water, wapping of tail and screeching. Kate brushed those thoughts away though before returning her attention back to Jaz. Edited at December 13, 2022 03:54 PM by ~Terebinth Wolves~

Jasper ~ 1st ~ F ~ Maggot ~ M: Kate - "Unfortunately I haven't met my dragon yet." Once again Jasper thought of what Maggot would look like, would she a brilliant red that shimmered in the sun? "I can't wait to meet mine though!" Exclaimed Jasper, " My dragon's name is Maggot. Which dragon were you assigned to? It sounds like your dragon isn't nice." - Maggot ~ 52 ~ F ~ Trainer: Jasper - Maggot stared at the steel doors of her stable. Those humans were lucky she didn't have fire, or she would've burn this whole place down 'til it was nothing but a wasteland. Stupid humans, Maggot thought, You'll regret locking me up. Dragons are supposed to be free! We don't work for anyone, especially humans. Maggot sighed, she longed to see the night sky. She had this urge to make those humans pay for putting her in this prison, but she knew she couldn't. There were too many humans here. She would have to wait. Arrietty-7th year-Female-Dragon:Glow Ari opened the door carefully, just open enough so she could get in and Glow culdnt get out. The dragon was about her height, Ari seemed to be a bit taller. Looking at the dragon she reached into her pocket and pulled out a peice of jerky she had snatched from the ferry. Holding it out to Glow she smiled, "It's okay, dont be scared. Here.". Arreitty put the jerky on the ground and back up a bit, so not to scare her dragon.

Kina || 5th Year || Female || Dragon: Blue || M: Open Now, But Don't Expect Her To Be Nice- And Maji || 3rd Year || Female || Dragon: Dart || M: Open Aswell- ~ Kina proceeded to drag her back through the hallway where they came from. "Stop it! I want to explore-!" "No." She interrupted her little sister. "You won't be exploring today. We have to find our dragons. What was yours named again..?" "Something like Darty Poison or something..." Maji said, crossing her eyes. Act your age-! "Did you already forget your's name..? You are really more focused on exploring than saying hi to your new dragon..?" Kia said, glaring at her little sister. "No! I just told you-" Maji immediately shut up as they got closer to where the other students were and then started to calmly walk by her older sister. Stay like that... Please don't embarrass me... "Lets find your dragon first, okay?" Kia said and then walked towards the stables with Maji.

Glow/ Dragon/ Trainer: Arrietty Glow looked at the jerky uncertainty, opening and folding her wings in a nervous manner. A few moments later she slowly moved forward to grab the jerky. It tasted good. Maybe this human wasn't so bad after all. Slowly her scales turned slightly back to their original orange color more inbetween them full orange, just enough to make her more visible.

Max || Female || 4th year || Dragon: Gasp Max sprinted across the grounds towards the stables, ignoring the dampness from the grass now seeping into her shoes as her rucksack bounced on its strap. She didn't have time to use the paths, which in her opinion were a complete waste of time, she had to see her dragon. Now. As she made her way to the stables her mind drifted back to the letter now crushed in her fist to prevent it from being lost, which stated her new dragon's name alongside a short, cryptic description of what to expect. However, in 3 years of experience, Max had learned not to entirely trust what was written. The school had a tendency to sugarcoat the nastier qualities of a dragon which was a real pain when trying to "bond". Yet Max was starting to understand what they really meant, for example, if they wrote something like, 'calm' that could mean one of two things. Either the dragon is by some miracle actually calm or they're a lazy asshole. Either way, Max was determined to bond properly with hers because in all honesty, it made it more fun when there were challenges. Eventually, she made it to the large stables and entered quietly, not wanting to startle any dragons as they were always much more skittish at the beginning of the year. She hovered at the entrance, looking around, she knew she was looking for a dragon named 'Gasp'. Cool name she thought as she started to walk along the stalls, reading each nameplate, recognising a few however she didn't have time to say hello to the older dragons just yet. She expected to find her dragon at one of the points furthest away from the doors, where the newer students, who were usually louder and more excitable wouldn't be.

Clem/ Fifth year/ Female/ Dragon: Solar Clem jumped from side to side as one of the latest dragons brought to the Academy feinted and then lunged at her. This particular dragon seemed to harbor a personal vendetta against Clem because she tried to give her a salmon on the day before school started. Let's just say that the salmon had NOT ended up in Solar's stomach and had MAYBE ended up on her favorite sweatshirt. Lesson learned. Anyways, now Clem was trying to get a saddle on Solar. Which was not going well. " Come onnnnnn" Clem yelled when the light dragon took a particularly well aimed swipe at her. " None of the other dragons who are older than seventy do this! Not ONE!" Of course I get pinned with the ONLY dragon who doesn't like saddles. And for a fraction of a second of a second, Clem did what Clem does and drifted off, and that was all it took for her to get flung across the stables. And at that moment, one of the oldest girls in her school, Arrietty, walked in. Cue the sad trumpets. "Great. Just PEACHY, EXACTLY how I wanted my school year to start. Being flung across a VERY large room EXACTLY when one of the most respected students here walks in EXACTLY what I wanted to happen. I can't believe this! As soon as- Is that dragon seriously LAUGHING at me! YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND FREAKING JOKES!!!" Clem yelled. At the very least, Arrietty and Clem were very, very, very distant relatives and had been friends since Clem started at Brighton. And also, maybe, just maybe... Oh whatever. It's not like that dragon knows I put some random plant I found that makes you puke whenever you inhale it in her room. ( Cue evil laughter) Bottom line, never mess with Clem because I will always get you back. HEHEHEHEHEHE

Max || Female || 4th year || Dragon: Gasp ... Max turned to watch as one of the 5th years was quite literally thrown across the building whilst trying not to laugh. Oh how she loved this place. Yes, the dragons were insane and the humans even more so but that's what made it home right? It amused her to imagine the reaction of what would commonly be known as a non-dragon-rider/geek if they dared step foot in this school, especially the stables at the beginning of term. But for those who had more or less grown up here, it was all too normal. Well, as normal as it could be. The girl didn't seem hurt and Max assumed she would just be offended if a student in the year below offered help so she left it be. You learned to expect these things, there was a reason after all that dragon riders were known for being so "tough". Max turned away and jogged softly to the other, quieter end of the stables where the newest dragons were more commonly found. Heart thrumming with excitement against her chest, Max's eyes landed on the nameplate bearing the single word "gasp". Edited at December 13, 2022 05:45 PM by ⁕Lupous⁕

Kina || 5th Year || Female || Dragon: BlueFlame Maji || 3rd Year || Female || Dragon: Poison Dart Frog ~ Kina lead Maji through the crowd without getting in anyone's way, trying to go as fast as possible since she could obviously tell her sister was uncomfortable. Maji may seem like a social butterfly, but she is quite shy honestly, and she wanted to avoid making her uncomfortable. She really quickly checked her paper to find out her dragon's name. BlueFlame? Hah! Sounds like a cool name. "Hey, Maji." She asked and her little sister looked up at her. "Do you still have the paper they gave you?" Kia whispered and she nodded, and handed her the paper. "Poison Dart Frog. Look for a Poison Dart Frog." She whispered and handed the paper back to Maji, and she slowly took it from her. We need to get out of this crowd as soon as possible... It's making me feel uncomfortable too... She scanned the room and then spotted a stable with a weird yellow dragon in it. "Hey..." She peeked at him and he came over to her, growling, with green mist coming from his mouth. "Are you Poison Dart Frog..?" She scanned the dragon, and he indeed looked like one of those monstrous, destructive, blah frogs. She reached her hand out and patted him on the cheek, but quickly flinched away when a weird feeling went into her hand. "Uhhh... Don't touch him..." She told Maji and started to scan around the entrance to his stable. She quickly spotted a name, and it was, Poison Dart Frog. "Is this him..?" Her little sister asked and she nodded at her. "Can I touch him now..?" "Be careful... It kinda feels awkward touching him..." She warned her and Maji then reached out to pat his nose and he snarled, so she flinched back and then he sniffed her and growled a bit, and allowed her to pet him. She slowly patted the dragon's head, slowly, and then backed away. "Lets go find Blue now..." Maji said and walked away, and then they began to scan the room again, but Kia could feel Dart staring at them as they walked away. Creep. She thought and hurried away from him. When they were farther away from Poison, they began to scan the room again, looking for a dragon named BlueFlame, who she was quite excited to meet, but did very well at hiding it with the nice, boring, blank expression she always had planted on her face. They continued reading all of the nametags around until they found the one labeled BlueFlame, so Kia inched towards it and then looked inside. Edited at December 13, 2022 06:02 PM by Fruit Lovers
