Dagger looked at Blizzard and then back to Frostbite. "I'm ready to go." She glanced back at the others.

Flame said, "Same." Blaze and Sapphire nodded in unison.

Dagger nodded. "I think we're all ready, then."

"Follow me," Frostbite said. She flew towards the north.

Dagger spread her wings and flew after Frostbite.

Flame changed into manticore form and flew after her. Blaze changed into dragon form and flapped his wings. Sapphire followed, and so did Blizzard.

Dagger kept flying.

Frostbite sniffed the air. "Mudwings!" she yowled, anger in her voice.

Dagger growled. "Where?"

She despised Mudwings. They had killed her mate, Cobra.
