Arrietty-7th year-Rider-Dragon: Glow ~ " Oh good! At least one of us has interacted with another being here." Ari chuckled before saying, "I think we are supposed to do a midnight ride today. For the 5th to 8th years and then tomorrow is the 1st to 4th. I might have to stay behind, I cant ride Glow...". Ari groaned, this was frustrating! She loved the midnight rides, she remembered as a small first year the first time her dragon glided with her on its back. It was comforting in some ways to be riding a giant fire-breathing dragon at nighttime. Of course, the teachers and headmaster were riding with you in case...something not so pleasant happened.

Jasper- 1st- Female- Dragon: Maggot- M-Kate and Maji - "Well guys I better go find my dorm room," Jasper smiles at them right before walking off. She pushed the giant doors to the stables open and made her way towards the dorms. The dorms were huge, Jasper thought to herself as she walked down the extremely long hallway filled with students. Wow! This is so cool I wonder who my roommate is going to be?

Axel/7th/Rider/Dragon- Dust Bunny Axel smiled slightly at Ari, loving how adorable she looked, realizing they were staring, they looked away quickly, a small blush creeping into their cheeks. Calming down, Axel looked back at Ari and said. "Hey, after we unpack and look around our rooms a little more, we can meet up for dinner. After dinner, we can go over to the Stables and check out Glow, alright?" Axel laughed. "I don't know if I can ride Dust Bunny. He hates humans, but I'm going to try." They gazed at Ari, and told her, "Midnight rides would be a good date, eh? Hat eto miss it." Realizing what they just said, they tensed up slightly, but still had a flirty grin on their face. Arrietty-7th year-Rider-Dragon: Glow ~ Ari's eyes widened a bit once she found out what Axel asked, then her gaze softened and she gave them a smile. "Yeah, I suppose it would be counted as a good date." she felt her cheeks get warm as she looked at Axel, then she laughed. If she had understood correctly...she might have a date tonight. Arrietty returned the flirty smile before walking into her room and probing herself up against the door, she sighed happily and then laughed. Now for some reason, Ari wanted to eat dinner and finish as soon as possible.

Axel/7th/Rider/Dragon- Dust Bunny Axel nodded, then looked at their watch. It read 6:02 pm. "Say," Axel said, looking back up to Ari. "Want to meet at the stairs at 6:30 to go down for dinner? Then we can go over to the Stables to see our dragons. Good for you?" Axel planned to quickly unpack everything and try to figure out who their new roommate was. They were happy to have a new, bigger room than last years dorm room. Axel wondered how Dust Bunny would react to them trying to ride him. The last attempt to get close to him had been...okay, but Dust Bunny had almost tripped them when his tail whipped towards their legs. Luckly, Axel jumped quick enough. Dust Bunny was going to be a challenge, but Axel was in their 7th year at the academy. They knew how to ride an unruly dragon. And I can't back down now. Axel thought. Not like I was going to anyway, but I already asked Ari to come along as a date...Imagine she could manage to fly with Glow, but I couldn't get Dust Bunny up in the air! Axel smiled at the funny thought. They glanced over at Ari, waiting for her responce

Clem/ 5th / Dragon: Solar Clem met her roommate for the first time, so that was good? It was kind of awkward, since she had been in the process of dissecting a foreign dead animal she had found in the forest, which was not the most welcoming thing to see your roommate doing. After a long and awkward silence, her roommate introduced herself. There were a few icebreaker questions, and then they talked for a little while. It was a good thing that her roommate, Arrietty, was okay with plants, because some people, for reasons Clem couldn't comprehend, didn't find the idea of sharing a living space with a ten foot long African Strangler vine named Cleopatra. I wonder why? She shared some advice with Arrietty about an interesting thing about all dragons that live in the mountains, they hate salmon and LOVE chin scratches, which was handy to know when training storm or light dragons. Clem then proceeded to dive into a three hour long lecture about the vegetation near Brighton Heights. About ten minutes in though, Clem realized that not everybody was as insanely obsessed with plants as she was, and maybe talking for hours on end about plants was not the best friendship making plan. So instead, she asked who her roommates best friend was. Arrietty told her that her best friend was named Axel, and that they had mentioned Clem to Arrietty. " Oh, is Axel that nice person who said hi to me? Cool!" Clem said upon realizing the connection. " Interesting coincidence. My roommate is friends with the person who tried to talk with me. I might not have burned my chances of making friends this year alive yet!" Clem thought to her self, the last bit being undertones with mild sarcasm. It wasn't really Clem's fault that she was weird, or couldn't hold a decent conversation. The problem started the first time she saw a development plot for a housing project. The development was staged in the middle of a lush forest, and Clem's older cousin took her to see how houses were built. But as soon as they started chopping down the first tree, Clem's dormant ability activated for the first time, making her hear everything. It was overwhelming, and she had no idea what was happening. As soon as it activated, the trees themselves started screaming in pain, a sound so foreign to her toddler brain that all she could do was scream as well. Ever since then, she had to distance her self from the pain of animals and plants, otherwise her "gift", or really curse, would force her to feel a slightly watered down version of their own pain. Ever since that day as a toddler, she had been laughed at for helping or protecting anything alive, even something as seemingly insignificant as an ant. It made it difficult to make friends, as you could imagine. But maybe it would change this year?

Arrietty-7th year-Rider-Dragon: Glow ~ Ari smiled, "Sounds good! See you then.". She shut the door and saw a girl, maybe a bit younger, "Oh, hello! Your Clem, correct?". Arrietty smiled and started unpacking, "I was so excited to come back here, I mean to be with dragons! What dragon did you get? I got a female dragon named Glow, she seems sweet, still warming up to be but I WILL make her like me.". Ari and Clem talked a little while more before it was time for dinner. "Wow...time flys! Nice meeting you Clem, its time for dinner, me and Axel will be walking down together, feel free to join us!" Ari smiled at Clem and then walked out of the room and knocked on Axel's dorm room door. "Hey! Its Ari, are you ready to head down? We might need to leave soon if we are to make it!".

Axel/7th/Rider/Dragon- Dust Bunny Axel looked up from placing their guitar down. Quickly checking the mirror just to make sure they didn't look like a half-dead walking corpse, then opened the down and stepped out into the hallway with Ari. "My roommate hasn't come up yet." Axel told her. "I wonder if it's going to be a first year... It would be crazy, but there are SO many of them, so it would make some sence." They started to walk down the stairs with Ari. I'll ask the Headmaster once we get down there." The two walked down the stairs, just chatting. Reaching the Mess Hall, Axel told Ari they would be right back and ran over to the Headmaster who was talking to a brown-haired girl with a dragon tooth neckless. Axel was going to wait until they stopped talking, but the Headmaster saw them and and called them over. Axel walked over and nodded at the girl. "Axel Steel, this is Jasper Sterling. It's her first year here. Ms. Sterling, this is Axel Steel. It's their seventh year." The Headmaster said. Axel nodded again, shaking hands with the first year. "You two are also roommates." the Headmaster said. Axel thought, I was right! I got a first year as a roommate! The Headmaster continued. "Ms. Sterling has been paired with Maggot, the new dark dragon. Because you specialize in dark dragons, and there are to many 1st years for their floor, I thought it would be a good idea to pair you two together." Axel nodded, and smiled at Jaz. "Hey Jaz, can I call you Jaz? Well, I'm going to go grab dinner with my friend over there, but afterward I can help you unpack if you want the help." Axel hurried over to where Ari was still waiting. "Sorry," Axel apoligized. "But I figured out who my roommate is! Jasper Sterling, a first year. She got paired with Maggot, the new dark dragon! It's crazy, but it's going to be fun!" Axel told Ari. Jasper- 1st- Female- Dragon: Maggot- M- Axel - "Oh hi... and there they go...," Jasper stood in the hallway awkwardly. Man Axel seems really excited to go get dinner with Arrietty, well I believe that's her name, she thought to herself. I hope Axel can help with Maggot, she sighed. Jasper walked into the dorm room and claimed a bed. The room was a decent size with a small desk by a window. "Ah not too bad," She said to herself thrusting her small bag of blongings onto the bed. Jasper stood there for a moment wondering what she should start unpacking first. Jasper grabbed her clothes and tossed them into a wardrobe. She grabbed her note book and fell on the bed with a big sigh. Edited at January 10, 2023 10:08 PM by Not Debbie
