Do not post here unless you have signed up to Alpine Hills - Beyond the outskirts of the small town, there lays the Kaltain Forest. Full of fire-breathing dragons, griffins, and many other mythical creatures awaiting battles, this forest is packed with danger. The townfolk dare not go in, for too many of the creatures keep them at bay in the small town. - RULES - You can only post once before me (no double posting). If in a party, I will spin a wheel to see who goes first, second, etc. - If you post here without an opening post by me, you WILL be ignored - Once again, do NOT ask for rare or tamable creatures. You will not find any. - When entering the Kaltain Forest, characters are at full health (100 HP). If you are in a battle and the monster hits you, you are hit with a random amount of damage. If you run out HP, you will return back to Alpine Hills with 10 HP. -

IRIS Cold air rushes by as you leave town. It begins to grow darker when you enter the Kaltain, and you shiver in fear. No light is able to enter the forest because of the thick vines and leaves overhead, and you are left in darkness. Vaguely you see two paths ahead of you, each covered in blackness. Your Telekari hisses anxiously as you decide: - Left Trail Right Trail -

The forest was a lot darker then Iris thought it would be. The glow from the mushrooms might be easy to spot. Maybe. Without the ability to see the paths she was going in completely blind. She really should have gotten a light before she went in here. Oh well. She took the left path.

IRIS You walk blindly to the left, hoping you chose the correct path. The forest is eerily silent, which startles you. As you walk forward, your eyes begin to focus in the darkness. Ashen gray trees line the path, and shimmering flecks of rock dot the path. Maybe that's a good sign? Soon the trees thin out a little, and slivers of sunlight appear. you can see more, and ahead of you there is another path leading to more forest, and the entrance to a small cave. Which one will you choose?: - Continue down path Enter cave -

IRIS Creeping away from the cave, you continue down the path. You see the glow of more light ahead, and, thinking its sunlight, you race closer. Instead, you find a small creature about half the size of your backpack. The creature looks to be a mix between a cat and a... dragon?! It's fur is an odd blue-green color, its wings black. It doesn't look hostile, and you realize that it has the glowing mushrooms on its back! What should you do?: - Tame it - 0 items of this use Put it in your backpack and return to Alpine Hills (See Ezrin to get the mushrooms off) Harvest the mushrooms and return to Alpine Hills Ignore it and find a different patch of mushrooms -

Iris stared at the creature. It was cute. And more importantly it didn't look like it wanted to eat her. Iris scooped the creature up and put it in her backpack.
