Status: Open for new Rps!
Currently really hankering to try out the "Flying with Death" plotline! ^~^
As the topic title states, I am looking for some Rp partners! Whether it be a 1x1 or a group rp, I can comfortably do either! I can rp in forums or pms, I honestly do not have a preference on either. I love creative writing and making characters for rps, but I get bored of things quickly so I am hoping with someone giving some fresh ideas and perspective on things, I can stay interested!
I will also use this post to bookmark my plots I come up with because I forget a lot of them XD
~
Information on me:
~ I can do almost any pairings. I am most familiar with MxF or FxF, but I do have some experience with MxM
~ Romance is not required unless it is preferred. I can do platonic or romantic pairings. However, if romance is preferred, I would prefer it to not be the sole driver of the plot. I don't mind if it is tied into the plot, but if romance is the only conflict going on, I find it gets boring rather quickly.
~ I consider myself pretty literate. I can comfortably write 500+ words, but usually my response lengths are based on my partner. I will always try to at least match my partner's response lengths.
~ I am more than happy to help out new RPers, we all have to start somewhere. However, I will get discouraged quickly if I feel like not much effort is being put forth. I can understand learning and still trying to get the hang of things, but it can be rather frustrating if I am consistently only getting 50 word responses with hardly anything to further the plot.
~ I love discussions, communication, and chats about the rp. I would love to have a seperate thread (either in pms or wherever) so we can discuss interactions for the characters, suggestions to help spark charater growth, additions to the narrative, etc!
~ I do not necessarily have a strict schedule, nor am I ever going to hold anybody to a strict schedule because I understand that life gets hectic and busy! I kind of just hop on when I remind myself to check on things. I understand if sometimes you need a break from the rp or need a little help churning out some ideas due to writer's block, I'm always happy to just discuss some things and/or pausing the rp!
~ I usually prefer humanoid type characters, but I can do animal/fantasy creature characters if it fits with the plot (e.g. dragons being the main characters instead of dragon riders).
~ I am very partial to fantasy/nonrealism rps. I can do realistic rps, but I have found that I get bored easily with those, unless the plot/contribution to the plot is interesting enough.
~

~ Protected by the Assassin:
A prosperous kingdom that had a rather beloved King and Queen. They had a rather peaceful rule and made good relations with neighboring kingdoms so the trade routes were booming. The King and Queen could be secretive though. Although they were happy to face the public and mingle with their people, they had an heir they rarely spoke of and no one ever saw. They were kept safely in the upper wings of the palace. Away from all harm and away from anybody. The only people allowed in and out of the heir's wing of the palace were trusted guards and servants.
One day, the King and Queen are called to an important meeting of all the rulers and must leave the safety of their home. With suspicions that someone might try to infiltrate during their absence, they called in a favor from an old friend. Asking for personalized protection for their heir. They didn't expect a notorious and skilled assassin to turn up at their door. But they had to trust that it would work out. An assassin trained to take out the very people they were about to protect. What could go wrong?
When the King and Queen's suspicions of someone infiltrating the palace come true, the assassin is outnumbered and forced to resort to fleeing. Which also included literally throwing the heir outside of the palace so they could both escape with their lives. Now they're stuck working together to stay alive and try to find their way back to the Kingdom. But along the way, they might find out that their meeting wasn't exactly a coincidence. What other secrets have the royals hidden behind their glamour?

~ Flying with Death:
(There are two different ways this one can potentially be set up. Either both kingdoms are in favor of dragon riders, maybe just disagree on requirements and traditions. Or, one kingdom is in favor of bonding dragons while the other kingdom is not --- Fear not though, we can always include the character from the other kingdom getting their own dragon if that is wished!)
Land is a precious resource. Especially when one island harbors two kingdoms. Two kingdoms that seem to be constantly bickering with one another. A cold war has always hummed in the background. It could be seen in the way one kingdom was always trying to outrival the other. Dragon riders held some of the most potent power in the lands. Ancient, mythical beasts that voluntarily agreed to bond with humans. Sharing their magic through a unique bond between dragon and rider. Riders were often given high ranks, then placed in factions depending on their skills and abilities.
Recently though, less and less dragons seem to be bonding. Causing a power imbalance. Years and years of preparing for war, and it finally happened. The lands turned even more hostile. Dragons turned on dragons. Without a resolution in sight, will these kingdoms tear each other apart?
When MC1 gets sent on a task, they stumble upn MC2 from the opposing kingdom. Immediately, they should try to kill each other. But if they stop trying to stab the other and think for a moment, they could see that the tasks they were sent on were more of a fools errand. Like they were trying to get rid of them. With the revelation of one truth, it only brought about even more questions, uncovered even more lies, and even more secrets to be discovered. The war might not even be what they think its about. How far do the kingdoms' lies go? What are they trying to hide? And why are the dragons less and less inclined to bond? What has the dragons so spooked, they're retreating back up into their mountain homes? Can these rivals stop bickering long enough to make it out of this alive?

~ I Despise You:
When two people with an inflated ego decide to hash it out, the only people that suffer are the ones they use to fight the battles.
Two people, who used to be brilliant partners with each other, developed a serum that can unlock incredible abilities in humans. Excelled speed, strength, agility, and even one power that is unique to each indivual. Whether it be pyrokinesis, invisibility, superspeed, etc. They had a vision to build a team of powered humans that could act as justice enforcers. Here, is where the perfect duo, collapsed. The partners had differing opinions on how best to utilize their powered humans. They decided to split and do their own thing. Both were forced to work in the shadows though. Human testing is not exactly a good look for any company.
One partnered with a government agency, a private group (G1) that could be used to finish the more dirty jobs that official agents couldn't and keep their tracks hidden from the media. The other partner ran a solo company (G2). A group that people with enough money, could hire to do private jobs (bodyguards, mercenaries, hitman, whatever paid). Even though they had split, they were still infatuated with one-upping their former partner. Their hatred ran so deep they influenced their own agents with it. Feeding lies into their ears to keep their agents loyal and dedicated.
One day, the leader from G1 decides to take a swing at their former partner, the leader of G2. They find one of their best agents (Main character 1) and send them after them. MC1 manages to get a clear shot at the leader of G2 and barely misses. With the leader of G2 aware of the plot to kill them, they send one of their best agents (Main Character 2) after MC1. After a few close calls on both sides, now, two extremely deadly humans are extremely pissed off at each other. But somehow, in their escapades to try and kill the other, they stumble upon a string that gets pulled. Revealing that the causes they swore so profusely to uphold, might have been a lie the entire time. With the thread starting to unweave, so too, do the secrets. Can they work together long enough to free everyone from the brainwashing they've undergone, or will they kill each other first?

~ Lost in Wonderland:
Have you ever felt like life was too boring? Incredibly mundane? Like, surely, there's something better out there? Well, that's how MC1 felt for as long as they could remember. They tried to fit into society. Go to school, get a job, get a relationship, everything that most people seemed okay with. So why did it seem so dreadfully boring? One night, a night their longing seemed particularly extra, something thought to be impossible happened. They were teleported to another realm. How? That's the million dollar question. Especially given the realm they landed in. A world of fantastical creatures, both deadly and beautiful. A world of political tensions. A world ravaged by war. A world weakened.
This realm has a long history with a bunch of hidden secrets. Years ago, the source of the magic was damaged. The prince at the time rode off to seek out the perps and never returned. His absence left fear, doubt, anger. His advisor decided to step up to keep the kingdom from falling into chaos. They'd completely rebuilt how the kingdom operated. Seperating the people into factions based on their abilities and skills. But there were some that were still loyal to the prince, and the royal bloodline. They wouldn't stand for this heresy. They rebelled. Further dividing the already torn lands. The magic is hanging on by a thread, unless they can find a way to fix it. They didn't expect a mortal (MC1) that suddenly appear to be the answer they needded.
With the magic damaged, no one had been able to leave or visit this realm since the day it happened. The mortal being here was supposed to be impossible, but it happened. Now, they have to figure out a way to get the mortal back home. However, they might just be the key to restoring the magic, but at what cost?
