Atri darted behind a tree, away from the group. He raised his hand to his chest, an intense heat burning inside him. He looked around fir any signs of anyone before he slowed to a walk. His powers were almost done for the day. He cursed quietly under his breath when suddenly he felt a strong pressure on his neck, his entire body fell limp. He felt himself get shoved to the ground, the last of his smoke fading away. He could hear multiple people closing in, radio static, branches snapping, handcuffs being tightened. "GET OFF OF ME!" Atri attempted to pull himself free from the cops grasp, but he had used all his strength. Sweat dripped down from his forehead as he lowered his head in defeat. The group of cops started heading back towards the town, a few others splitting up to explore the woods. |

Atri lifted his head slightly as the cops semi dragged him through the woods, his ears were ringing, his vision was blurry, his heart pounding heavily in his chest from over using his ability.. he narrowed his eyes to try bring things into focus but couldnt make sense of anything going on. |

The ground rushed up to meet Atri, the soft grass cushioning his fall.. he propped hinself upwards slightly using his elbows, his hair strung in front of his face. He looked upwards at Shade, gave her a half smile before he lay back down.. |
