Stella stretched. She looked over at Storm, greeting him a cheery smile. "Morning!" The female yipped. Her tail thumped softly on the floor. Stella jumped up, falling back over with a yelp. Her wound wasnt healed enough and hurt.

"Relax. You need to lay down and get some rest." Storm said climbing to his feet. "We have to go finish moving the cattle but you are gonna stay here and heal." He said.

Stella grumbled. She didnt mind being inside, and enjoyed it most of the time, but she wanted to help. The canine laid back down. "Okay.."

"You can help me with chores when I get back." Storm said before heading off to wake up his owner.

Stella laid her head on her paws and waited. She watched as Storm went into another room, and took this time to crawl over to the dog door. She squeezed through it, trying not to touch her wound, and ended up getting stuck outside.

Storm came back into the kitchen with his owner so they could eat then head out. He looked around for Stella wondering where she went. Storms owner opened the back yard checking outside to see her laying there.

Stella had managed to pull an old dog bed from the shed, and was laying next to the door on it. I was caught! Run away! The female dog was frightened and ran to the side of the house. Then she realized who it was and walked back. Edited at July 2, 2021 03:38 PM by Epiphany Insight

Storm followed his owner. "Come on breakfast then chores." He said before going back inside. He ate the food that was put in his bowl.

Stella was happy to be free from her wound. No more laying around for weeks on end! She ran into house, gobling up the food that had found its way into her bowl. Stella licked her chops. She waited for Storm and his owner.

Storm finished his food quickly. "Come on lets go do chores." He said before running out of the house. He waited a moment outside for Stella to catch up before r e taking off to the chicken coop.
