She licked Juniper harder, trying hard to get her to calm down despite going crazy herself. "It may be against the rules, but I support you! You'll be fine." She lashed her tail, trying not to fidget. Or think about Ull anymore.

Misty's reassurance brought some comfort to Juniper, but her nerves continued to spiral out of control. She felt overwhelmed by conflicting emotions, her mind racing with thoughts of Ember and the rules she might be breaking.

"I-I don't know, Misty," Juniper replied, her voice trembling. "It feels... wrong, doesn't it? Being from different colonies, it's... it's complicated."

Skylark's persistent efforts to calm her down helped, but Juniper couldn't shake the feeling of unease gnawing at her. Despite Skylark's support, the weight of the situation felt heavy on her shoulders.

"I appreciate your support, Skylark," Juniper murmured, her breathing starting to steady. "But what if it's not just about me? What if... what if it causes trouble for everyone?"

"I don't think that it will. You already see her all the time, a few more times probably wouldn't hurt. As long as you don't leave the pack, I don't think it's too big a deal." She murmured through licks. She was glad that the conversation had finally moved away from her own flower and relationship though.

Skylark's soothing words began to ease Juniper's frantic thoughts, her heart rate gradually slowing as she listened to her friend's reassurance. She took comfort in Skylark's logic, finding a glimmer of hope amidst her doubts.

"You're right, Skylark," Juniper replied, her voice steadier now. "I guess... I guess seeing Ember a few more times wouldn't hurt."

Juniper shook her head. No it can't don't fool yourself.

Juniper wanted to get the topic on someone else so she looked at Misty.

"Sis, do you have anyone you like?" Juniper asked.

Misty was flustered and took a few steps back. W...what. I dont like anyone in the pack. They're all taken any way.

Skylark noticed the subject change and turned toward Misty, interested. "Yes, tell us about whoever you're sneaking out to see!" She curled around Juniper, hoping her warm, soft fur and feathers would help her calm down more.

"You avoided the question." She enquired

She leaned into Skylark feathers while looking at her sister.

"I don't know what you're talking about." After about five minutes of silence, Misty talked, her cheeks bright red. "Alright, the loner, Jabez, I think hes super sweet and caring."

Skylark stopped licking and her jaws fell open. "The loner?! Jabez?!" She had a soft spot for that loner, as he was a bird hybrid like herself, but still! He was a loner! And Misty liked him? That was crazy! No wonder she snuck out so much..
