The male was moving at a lazy speed through the forest, barely paying mind to his surroundings or his path. It wasn't until the jostling of bushes and the faint, quick steps of something small that his attention snapped to focus. He trilled in excitement, his instinct to hunt surging forward as she stilled, locating the source of the sound. Once it drew nearer, seemingly about cross his path, he lurched forward, tucking his arms against his body so he moved fluidly. Once he reached the small creature, a micro as it turns out, he pounced at it, aiming to pin it beneath one of his clawed feet.

Alsaela She yelped, tumbling away, diving under some logs, into an empty rabbit hole that's been long abandoned. Who is that?! Her heart raced, and she could hear her blood pumping. She needed to catch her breath before she could call for help.

Winter As Winter was fully invisible she watched as the micro ran away. Tears ran down her face as she watched the micro run. Just then she saw a raptor pounce on the micro. Winter quickly went to survey the situation. Without the rapto noticing she slipped into the rabbit hole that the micro stumbbled into, "Are you hurt? Do you want me to help?!" Winter tired her hardest to uncloak but only managed to get her head visible again. "I wont hurt you, i just want to help." All the while Winter kept trying to calm down and become visible again.

Alsaela She was panicking, and she was hyperventilating. "can this day get any worse?!" She managed to squeak out. She wasn't bothered by the weird invisible raptor anymore. Now she was more concerned about the big scary one trying to get her. She slammed herself deeper into the rabbit hole, she wasn't in the best position to slide through like usual.

Khazhak Hunter | M | Mentions: Blu
The male took her soft purr of appreciation as permission to continue the grooming, and he set to work. Having feathers of his own he understood how to use his own teeth, tongue, and claws to clean them of whatever coated them. It was a delicate process, and a tedious one, so he focused on the parts in more dire need of it.
He momentarily tensed when he saw the feathers along her spine rise, but relaxed once again when she spoke. He understood where her reservations came from, they would be knowingly putting the youngster in danger, but sometimes tough love was the only love. Khazhak's own brother had been one of those types, in fact, it took his younger sister dying before his brother ever bothered to take things seriously. Truthfully, Khaz hoped it would never come to that.
"Very well. I can go out on a patrol, by myself or with anyone who can go, so that if you need us for anything we're already moving. I might even recommend taking someone else with you so it isn't just you. I don't want to make it seem like she isn't important, because she is, but you are our leader Blu, none of us want to lose you while trying to teach her," he murmured quietly, not wanting their conversation to fall upon any ears that weren't welcome to it.
Arrow Rogue | M | Mentions: Alsaela, Winter
Hissing at himself for missing, the small ones were always quicker than they looked, he landed and pivoted on his feet, bright topaz eyes searching for her. 'Clever one,' he though to himself when he realized she must have ducked into hiding quickly. He could hear no retreating footsteps or distant cries for help, nor did he see any frantic tracks leading away from them. He inhaled deeply, nostrils flaring as he lowered his muzzle to be closer to the ground, quickly locating her scent.
Whilist looking, though, the male noticed something perculiar: anyone one had snuck in at some point. He hadn't seen another one, but the scents on the ground told him everything. "Aww come out now little ones. Ole Arrow wouldn't hurt you, my social skills just aren't up to par," he spoke, voice rich with an almost purring quality to it. "It's just too tempting to pass up pouncing on one of you littles when you're not expecting it," a soft chuckle rolled from his lips as he scanned about, eventually his eyes falling on the entrance to a hole.
"My, my.. I wonder what's behind door number one..."

Jani-Male-Lone Micro ~ Jani watched the blue micro dart behind him. Does she think I'll defend her? He thought, but for some reason stood defensively in front of her, growling at the last spot the raptor was visible. Suddenly, a raptor pounced out at them. He jumped out of the way and squeaked as the blue raptor tumbled into a rabbit hole. He shook and then picked a direction and ran. ~ I was a bit confused what was going on, sorry if I got anything wrong. I'm on 3% battery Edited at November 23, 2022 04:00 PM by Fruit Lovers

Blu . Blu shook her head, shaking away her reminiscing and looking around for Alsaela. Khazhaks words stuck with her as she gives a louder purr of appreciation for the grooming and sets about leaving the cave, searching for the scent of the Micro they were speaking of. Just before she leaves she turns back to Khazhak to speak. . "I will find her and let her know of what is to happen" . She followed the scent to a rock pile, noticing another 2 scents that didnt belong to either Alsaela nor Jani. Her feathers somewhat fluff up in a new wave of slight panic and rage, and she takes off in the direction she smelled Alsaela go to. . She comes to a spot where she sees an unfamiliar Raptor, hissing as soon as she spots him looking into a rabbit hole. She doesnt know where Alsaela is, but she knows she is very close. . She leaps onto a fallen log near the Rogue Raptor and lets out a dominant roar, raising her head and staring down the male, with a low growl emitting from her chest that signaled she wasnt playing around. . "Who are you and what are you doing!" . She demands, the claws on her feet digging into the log she was on harshly Edited at November 23, 2022 04:14 PM by Sir Vibes

Alsaela She hissed and shoved Winter down another hole. "Follow that path as quickly as you can. I can meet you in one of the chambers if you go deep enough." She headbutted winter down and watched her fall safely. She yelped as she saw the big raptors eyes. In the darkness, hers went from white to deep vibrant amber. She quickly repositioned herself and dove into one of the other holes. She knew this burrow! She had hidden here many times before!

Winter As fear came back to Winter she began to disapear but not before the micro shoved her into a hole. Winter was about to protest when the micro headbutted her down into the hole. As Winter tumbled down the hole she heard the micro scream. She closed her eyes tight as she was fully invisible. When Winter felt herself hit the bottom of the fall she relucktantly opened her eyes. It was dark and she could barely see as she took a step forward. As she blindly wandered around, above her she could hear muffled speaking. She looked at the top of the dirt path, trying to figure out what to do when dirt fell into her eyes. She let out a paniced screech as she plopped down into a tight ball. Tears fell as she just curled up tighter. Edited at November 23, 2022 04:16 PM by ~Terebinth Wolves~

The male's attention was solely focused on the entrance so he didn't quite her the approach of the larger one until she was on the log near him. Her roar was loud, not something he found intimidating, though that was due more to the fact that he'd grown up in a loud and aggressive pack, and not anything she did wrong. However, the roar was still enough to snap his attention to her and he trilled a sound of disappointment before rising to his full, relaxed height.
"Oh pipe down, Mama Raptor," he grumbled, shaking himself off a bit and flexing his sickle toe into the ground. "I wasn't actually going to hurt the little scamps. They were just running about by themselves like holy terrors, little Micros should know better than to be alone and drawing such attention to themselves," he clicked his jaws together before whirling to the hole and half sticking his head in.
Despite his position his body language said he was relaxed, nonthreatening. "Come come, little ones, you're boss lady is here to claim you," he instructed, and was about to back out when his sniffed at a scent he recognized easily. "Ahh, hell," he murmured and used his claws to dig open the burrow further and calling out to the female who seemed pissed at him, "please don't attack by behind, I'm trying to reach one, no harm will come to it." He didn't need her taking a chunk out of him while he wormed his way in.
"Hello, little one? The one with the tears, come to me, I'll get you out, no harm will come to you. I really mean you no harm," he called out, his voice softening greatly.
