|Killjoy| M: River, Brecken, Glacier, Gewndolyn|

"Nope, just us." He whispered as he crouched down. He headed for the bushes. Brecken was next to him, panting from excitement. He flatted him ears, and growled at him. Brecken got the hint and stopped. He looked back at River. He put his ears forwards, and contuined on. He was starting to get excited for the hunt. He put himself next to Night.

"Hello again." He smiled. Brecken crouched on the other side Killjoy.

"Tell me when your ready." Killjoy said, putting his eyes on the oldest of the bulls. Then his eyes went to what seemed the most lively of the old elk.

"Brecken. Go for that elk. You'll have the most luck with it since you are the fastest."

|Brecken|

Brecken wagged his tail. He loved hunting. He had followed Killjoy over to the bushes. He was close to the one Killjoy wanted him after. He moved around a bit, putting himself in the best form to run after it.

Night turned his head slightly as Killjoy slid in beside him. "Greetings to you as well. I am ready when you are," Night said flicking his tail. Two of his hunters broke off circling the herd from the bushes, their target laying down in the grass. An elderly female lay there. They would be able to get it with help from River who was on the other side of the herd. A flick of his ears got a nod from her as she headed that way as well. He turned his eyes to the elk that Killjoy pointed out to Brecken. "If we rush it, we can herd the elk straight into the forest where they will feel safe. Then after a couple days, they will return here for feeding once again." Night whispered over to Killjoy, angling his ears towards the scattered trees beside them.

|Killjoy|

"Sounds like a good plan. Brecken, you herd the rest of them into the forest. Then come back for tyour kill." Brecken herds elk like a collie would her cows.

"Okay!" Brecken got ready to go after the herd.

"Night, would you call off your two hunters? I'd like to run the elk myself." Brecken said. Killjoy got himself ready to go for the biggest one of the oldies. He licked his lips.

"When you say ready, we'll go." Killjoy said to Night, his eyes on the prey.

Night flicked his ears at Brecken, "That elk that they are circling will not be able to run. By the time it gets to your feet, you will already have run the elk and the pack will be onto it. This way, you still get to run the elk and that old one will already be dead." Night explained to Brecken before nodding to Killjoy, "We're ready." A flick of his ears told the rest of his hunters to be ready for Killjoy's signal.

|Killjoy|

Killjoy let out a small, low howl. The elk's heads turned. Brecken shot off after the herd like a bullet. Killjoy pounced on his old elk. He grabbed it by the throat, and bit down. He tasted the blood come rushing into his mouth. Then it went limp. He dropped it, and watched Brecken do his work.

|Brecken|

Brecken nipped at the heels of the scared elk. He was running from behind the herd, to next to the herd on one side, then in the back, to the other side of the herd. He panted as he saw the woods up ahead. A little white thing rolled past him. What was that? He thought as he kept running. He got them to the woods, and turned around.

|Sky|
Sky felt the ground moving. Almost like there were hundreds of animals charging her. Then she heard them. She heard their hooves beating the ground first. Then the bulls as the screamed. She started to run, but by the time she started they were already on top of her. She felt the hooves on her ribcage. She got lifted by the hooves of the elk as they ran on her. She rolled away. She smelt Brecken. Help. She thought as the herd ran off.

|Brecken|

Brecken saw the little bundle of white fur laying there.

"No! Sky!" Brecken ran over to the little pup. What was he to do? He was a twenty minute run from the hunting grounds, and if he ran, he might hurt her. He picked her up carefully, and paded towards the hunting grounds at a walk. It would be fourty minutes by the time they got back, enough time to get elk down.

As Killjoy let out the howl and went for his elk, Night ran out, closing in on another one. His hunters converged on the elk laying down, it being dead in seconds. River was not needed for them, they seemed to have it under control. Night leaped up, his jaws closing around the elk's leg, pulling it down. Dodging the kicks, his fangs slashed through its throat, killing it. He panted, looking over to find River circling the herd with a confused expression on her face. He padded over to her before she said, "I smell a pup towards the wooded area with Brecken." Night flicked his ears, oh dear that wouldn't be good. "Go find him, he should've been back by now anyway." Night said and River nodded, taking off. He trotted back over to Killjoy, "Good hunting."

Artemis had followed Gwendolyn not sure what she was doing. Half in a daze half in the real world. She blinked and crouched by Gwendlyon," What's the prey?" She whispered snd then added "I have been in a daze" Artemis resisted the urge to sneeze and then stretched her hind legs out.

Lougek woke up and shivered. It had all been a dream sadly. He wasn't being mentored by Illusion, snd he wasn't playing with Cali his sister whom he had not seen for ages. He wondered who is father was and shuddered as he skipped outside. A pause. Where had everyone gone? He called as loud as he could "Illusion?,Illusion?! Illusion!!? ILLUSION?" No use, His idol probably couldnt hear him or see him. He was probably to busy for him Where was he? He looked around.

Cali had been away in the dark woods for a long time, she had grown more over the time not a full juvenile but close. Cali had found some magical herbs she wanted to bring back to Seya but she couldn't. As the dark woods twist and turn in an endless maze it's almost enough to make one go insane. Cali managed to keep sane in those woods with the thought of her brother Louvel.

Cali walked around a tree she was sure she had already seen. Alas, there it was the small claw mark on the trunk she had left. She grunted in frustration. She then heard her brother's voice shouting "Illusion" what does that mean? she wondered before bolting in the direction of the voice.
