Artemis looked at Gwendolyn with hidden despair and worry. "So the boulders are destroyed?" She asked then quickly asked " that was for Louvel of course"

Her hazel eyes drifted to the ground.

While walking alongside Artemis she gave a small comforting nudge. "The fire isn't hot enough to destroy the rocks but the grass and flowers were destroyed and when the rains fall new grass and flowers will grow and they will be far prettier than those that were there before."

Artemis looked at her friend and whispered "How did you know I I I lost my pups?.." she trembled and loooked at Louvel skipping ahead with illusion

River paused, sitting down for a moment as Killjoy asked the question. "When I was younger before the name giving ceremony, my friend accidentally fell into the river. He didn't know how to swim and the current was strong. I didn't think but instead went in after him. When I reached him, I used the current to get back on land." River said quietly, flicking her ears before saying, "That's how I got the name River. To understand the water and the currents as well as how to swim at a young age, that was the choice given to me." River got back up before shaking out her fur. "How might you have gotten yours? It doesn't seem to fit you as you don't kill the joy in the air." She asked, looking over at him.

I noticed you weren't carrying anymore and under the smoke I could smell you had recently given birth. I noticed you don't have them with you and I know you wouldn't have left them behind if they were still alive. I also pieced it together when you were asking about the rock pile... thats where you buried them isn't it..?" She asked quietly and gently, she gave another comforting nudge to Artemis.

Yang opened his eyes to see a snake staring at him. He stared back; eventually causing the snake to slither up to him. He didn't mind the snake as he lived nearby this one. The snake slithered into a hole and disappeared. Snakes are weird, he thought, but I am weirder. He let out a quiet sigh as he got up and walked out of his cave. He didn't know what to do, as usual, so he merely walked around. He made sure not to stay in one place too long, as he knew what would happen if he did.

Knight savored this moment with Seya, he took deep breaths and felt the dirt on his paws. he still felt guilty about taking Seya from Killjoy. Knight didn't feel this was the time to think about regrets, but think about the future, what is he gonna do when he officially joins the pack with Seya, and what he'll do if he comes across Killjoy.

Seya tilted her head again as she looked at Dark Knight. Is he okay? She asked herself. She saw him look guilty and looked down. Oh.. He probably feels guilty about what happened with me and Killjoy.. She blinked and sighed. "Knight? You don't have to worry." She said, looking at the sky. "I promise." She looked at him and smiled.

Yang trotted around, seeing the sky as it was starting to clear of smoke from the fire. He blinked. Startled. Fire? There was a fire? He sighed. Probably why the snake is hiding in my den. He looked around and sniffed the air. He didn't know what else to think about. He saw animals scatter at his wake, as usual, but some of the more medium-sized animals stood their ground but he knew they quietly feared him. He looked at the sky again and thought about his sister. I wonder how she's doing? He smiled a little at the thought of her being safe and continued on his way.

Knight didn't realize that his guilt showed, he looked back at Seya, he nodded a reply to Seya's promise "I'll try to keep that in mind" he says smiling a little. He scratched an itch on his ear, in his claw, he found a strange-looking bug, he threw it into a nearby tree

Seya smiled and nodded. "Thank you." She said and looked at him more closely. "When was the last time you cleaned your fur and gave it a good groom?" She asked as she gently pawed his back, now noticing it is slightly dirty. She was worried he might get hurt by nasty bugs and whimpered at the sight of it. She couldn't stand the sight of him being hurt even in her mind and started to shake from it.

Yang flicked his ear at sounds in the distance and shook his head at them. Probably wolves talking. He said and then stretched. Can't make it out, though. He yawned a little as he was rudely awoken by that snake and blinked a few times as he realized one of the sounds. His sister. Talking with someone. He started walking faster as he started hearing the voices more clearly. He sniffed the air and knew it was her. She's the only wolf I've ever known who covers up her scent by using flowers. He quietly sighed and waited behind a tree, listening in to what his sister was talking about. He didn't want to seem like a creep, though, so he laid down and pretended to sleep. Nodding off a few times, he silently listened.
