"Dont worry. I'll protect you." He said as he started into the forest slowly. He sniffed the air searching for pray. The smell of a deer drifted by as well as squirrels and rabbits.

Caelum chuckled softly before rolling her eyes, "protecting? You think I need protecting?" She asked with a teasing laugh before giving him a thankful smile. Her ears flickered slightly as she heard a few small animals racing around her, filling her with even more hunger and equally more thrill.

"Well not so much you. I do think you need a little protection seeing as how you and your brother handled those coyotes." Jasper said laughing.

"We weren't ready for it!" She whimpered bu it was clear as day that she was messing around. "And infernos was never good a fighting." She noted with a smirk.

Jasper smirked and continued on. Out the corner of his eye, he spotted the deer he smelt earlier. He drops into the bushes and slowly stalks forward.

Caelum looked a little confused when he dropped, but a moment after when she saw the deer, she dropped to the ground snd stayed quiet until Jasper had gotten the deer.

Caelum look at Jasper a little worriedly, what if she didn't manage to make the kill in time? Or... or... Caelum quickly scampered over and sunk her teeth into the deers neck before watching it struggle and go limp. She licked her mush before giving a bloody

smile to Jasper, clearly proud of the little part she had played.

Jasper smiled and dropped the leg. He licked his lips from the blood and let the blood soak into his mouth. He grabbed the deer by one of the front legs and started to drag it back to the den. He looked at Caelum giving her a good-job look.

Caelum smiled softly as she watched Jasper before padding along jus behind the deer. She tried to lift the back up and help, but her legs couldn't quite take the extra weight.
