The first was She-Wolf.

She was a tan coloured female wolf with unusual green eyes, and she was born in the pack of Shadowwalkers, along with her six bronthers. Because she was the only female in the litter, her pack called her only She-Wolf - or Seven, because she was the youngest of seven siblings.

Three of her brothers died in their first winter, but she was strong and managed to survive. She grew into a muscular, big and heavy wolf and was the perfect one to tear down the prey when hunting. Because of her strength, the other wolves adored her.

But then disaster struck. A terrible wildfire ran over Shadowwalkers territory, and all wolves where burned in the flames. Only She-Wolf survived. She had to leave her burnt home territory and her dead pack, so she left and wandered west. She walked for months, until she found a suitable territory.

But this region had already its own wolf. Levian, a lanky black male, defended his home with his life.

One battle between the two wolves showed that She-Wolf was a incredible fighter. Levian had to flee. But on his way through the forests, he was ambushed by a pack of coyotes and nearly killed.

She-Wolf saw him fighting for his life. She had a heart of gold and even if she wanted this territory, she didn't want an other wolf to be killed! She threw herself into the battle and saved Levian from the coyotes.

She was injured in the fight, but Levian showed her the place where the right herbs grew. It showed that Levian was an amazing runner, as fast as the wind, and they were an incredible team. Levian was the brain, She-Wolf the muscles, and soon they decided to found a new pack. They chose the name "Shadowrunners" in remembrance of She-Wolfs former pack, and to honor Levians speed.

The first wolf who joined the new pack was Ashoka, a clever female red wolf with different-colored eyes. She had lost her pack in a terrible drought and was made the Omega of Shadowrunners. She-Wolf sais that Ashoka is the "real heart of the pack", because she cares for everybody's welfare and has a good eye for her packmate's feelings.

The second recruited wolf was Blood Moon, a strong black beta female. She had left her former pack because she thought she was meant for something greater.

And the third wolf... was Rowan. He was only a pup, a messy, childish pup who was abandoned because his parents could no longer care for him.

On the last day of summer, Levian's and She-Wolf's three daughters where born - Mairie, Dearlea and Caila. They where even more chaotic than rowan.

On the last winter day, Ashoka gave birth to her three sons, Rex, Cedar and Tigris.

She-Wolf was proud of herself, and proud of her pack. Shadowrunners were ready to run the world.
