As your pack walks through an unfamiliar forest you hear the sounds of wolves fighting and wrestling. You peak over the bushes to investigate without getting close. You find a wolf pack that seems to be battling one another which is strange to you.

Two wolves catch your eye. The alpha male Rowan and alpha female Sparrow. Rowan and his mate sit and watch as their offspring and wolves they had adopted battle in front of them. They seem highly focused.

Ah! You’ve heard about this group of wolves before! They are known as the Courage Peak Pack.

You notice a grey wolf with a muscular build, her name is Twenty-seven. Daughter of the alphas she is noticeably larger and more dominant than her brothers and sisters. Her older packmate River is always challenging her and testing her limits as he wants to lead the pack when Rowan dies however he cannot do that with Twenty-seven in the way since he was adopted into the pack and does not share Rowan’s blood. They battle brutally however once the fighting stops you realize that they were just training each other as they reconcilie while sharing food.

This pack, heavily driven by power and force, also contains a secret heart. These wolves who seem so brutal are extremely loyal to each other. At least for now as their Alpha is still alive, but when he passes on, you predict that a battle for the thrown may take lives.

You start trotting back to your territory when you freeze at the sound of snarling behind you….
