Pack of Mist Rank Descriptions
(In order of importance)

Lord:
Alpha male of the pack.
♦
Lady:
Alpha female of the pack.
♦
Lieutenant:
Beta male or female of the pack and the Lord's highest ranking adviser. He or she is usually picked by the current Lord after the previous of either rank has died or retired.
♦
Attendant:
Highest ranking Servant and the Lady's most trusted confidant. She is usually picked by the current Lady after the previous of either rank has died or retired.
♦
Heir:
This is usually reserved for the chosen son of the current Lord and Lady. Offspring of the Heir will become heirs to his thrown after he has died.
♦
Servant:
Unrelated females of the pack. They are the ones who take care of both the Lady and all pups of the pack.
♦
Shaman:
Healer of the pack, these wolves may not have pups, but are allowed to take a mate if they so desire.
♦
Maiden:
Unrelated females born from the Servants and Lieutenant. They are able to breed freely with wolves from other packs.
♦
Bachelor:
Unrelated males born from the Servants and Lieutenant. They are able to breed freely with wolves from other packs.
♦
Descendants:
Wolves that are related to the first Lord and Lady of the pack.
♦
The Wanderers:
Name given to those wolves that brave the territory in search of food and resources. This title is given to not only the main group but their apprentices as well.
♦
Elder:
Once a wolf (that is not the Lady, Lord, Lieutenant, Attendant, or Heir) reaches the age of 13 they are rewarded for their service to the pack and allowed to retire, living out the rest of their years in saftey and comfort. Most elders live to be at least 17 years before they pass on into the afterlife.
