I'll listen to any music except for country and jazz.

I really like reading! I would spend hours just reading if I had the time. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I don't mind reading other genres. My favorite author is probably Brandon Sanderson, although Chris D'Lacey is a close second.

I don't watch a lot of anime, but I enjoy Attack on Titan quite a bit

I have a fair amount of experience as a VFX artist/graphic designer

My Philosophy as an Artist

Criticism is a good thing! When I show someone some of my work, I want them to criticize it. I want them to point out that my color scheme is screwed up, or that my proportions are a little off. If all people do is tell me that my art's good the way it is, how will I ever improve? If someone asks for feedback, don't be afraid of sounding like a jerk for pointing out mistakes. Any real artist will be grateful for your input.

Of course, there is such a thing as non-constructive criticism, which is when you tell someone that their work sucks without telling them why. Keep criticism constructive! Offering suggestions is infinitely more helpful than just saying, "Your art stinks", which clearly indicates that you have no idea what you're talking about. If you're going to tell someone that their art is bad, you should be able to tell them why so that they can improve.

Roleplaying

I enjoy roleplaying, and I'm open to most topics.

I'm comfortable with MxF or MxM.

I don't usually like roleplaying as humans, but if the plot is really interesting, I'll give it a go!

Please be literate, I like it when people spell things correctly and have decent grammar.

Please reply with at least 5 sentences. It's not a big deal if you have shorter responses every now and then, and it's fine under some circumstances, such as scenes with a lot of dialogue between characters, but I would appreciate it if you put forth a little effort into your responses.

My mailbox has a history of not sending/receiving mail, so if I don’t respond for a while, don’t hesitate to send your mail again..

If you take longer than 24 hours to respond, I will assume that my mail didn't send correctly and I'll send my response again.

Also, if you want to be done, let me know. Don't just stop replying. I won't be upset!

You spend your whole life gathering guests for your funeral.

There is nothing more unpleasant than realizing that you have somehow spilled syrup on the inside of your clothes.

By calling yourself non-binary, you categorize everyone into binary or non-binary, creating a binary system which makes you binary again.

When making toast, cut the bread with a non-serrated knife. This will produce a much smoother cut, which makes it easier to spread butter.
