Hallow Ouch, driving is rough for a commute. I teach kinder through 6th grade! Since I sub day to day It's always a different class. I do like working with the older kids though cause I can be more real and direct with them haha. No need to beat around the bush, I can just straight up tell them "what are you even doing" instead of being like "oops, I think you made a bad choice!". Though I alose like the younger grades cause they're ususally so loving and sweet. I love when they hug my legs and tell me I'm the best haha

Laurat I get what you're saying. I have to drive it, so it feels just like time wasted. I tried getting into audiobooks but I felt sleepy listening. I'm trying to find a job closer to home but it's rough. Enough complaining from me though lol, what grade level do you teach?

Hallow I'm usually up early when I sub, it's just that some days are so tiring that I just hit the hay once I'm home. I'm lucky, I have may off-ish, I have jobs here and there but I start work in june through august in a daycare (since schools are closed in summer lol). I used to have super long commutes too, I get the feeling! I read a lot in the bus tho or I studied so I wouldn't "loose the time" (idk how to phrase it in english)

Also I'm trying so hard to find a cl female pup but Kado and Chad haunt every bloodline lol

Laurat I'm in the US. 6pm? I'm jealous! I go to bed usually around 10:30-11 and I'm up by 6 for my current job T^T I did the math, I'm at work (including commute) for 11 hours a day

Hallow I don't know where you are, I'm in Canada so I know the teaching situation is different than in the US. However, as much as I love it, it's quite challenging. It's not always fun nor easy, but sadly I can't bring myself to hate it haha. I find it super rewarding to be able to teach the kiddos but sometimes I go to bed at 6pm after a subbing day haha

Laurat Oh that's cool! I've considered going back to get a teaching degree, I can't decide what degree I want. I went to college for 3 years, didn't end up liking what I was doing and I was failing so I left and I'm trying to figure it out now

He/they|22|about this tall|gay/furry I'll listen to any music except for country and jazz. I really like reading! I would spend hours just reading if I had the time. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I don't mind reading other genres. My favorite author is probably Brandon Sanderson, although Chris D'Lacey is a close second. Credits Avatar created by me Banner created by me ______________________________________________________________________ ArtYeah, I do some art stuff! My artwork is primarily of the 3D variety, typically photorealistic but with the occasional more stylized render. I'm not currently accepting commissions, but feel free to check out my gallery! Eternal Calamity's Art Shop - Closed Eternal Calamity's Art Gallery My Philosophy as an ArtistCriticism is a good thing! When I show someone some of my work, I want them to criticize it. I want them to point out that my color scheme is screwed up, or that my proportions are a little off. If all people do is tell me that my art's good the way it is, how will I ever improve? If someone asks for feedback, don't be afraid of sounding like a jerk for pointing out mistakes. Any real artist will be grateful for your input. Of course, there is such a thing as non-constructive criticism, which is when you tell someone that their work sucks without telling them why. Keep criticism constructive! Offering suggestions is infinitely more helpful than just saying, "Your art stinks", which clearly indicates that you have no idea what you're talking about. If you're going to tell someone that their art is bad, you should be able to tell them why so that they can improve. ______________________________________________________________________ Roleplaying I enjoy roleplaying, and I'm open to most topics! These days I tend to only do MxM pairings if the topic happens to be a romantic one. I also don't usually enjoy roleplaying humans, but if the plot is interesting enough I can be persuaded! I do prefer roleplaying partners to be reasonably literate, but the occasional spelling or grammar error isn't a big deal! I'm not too picky about reply length either, I'll try to aim for at least a paragraph most of the time but as long as I get enough to work with, massive replies aren't required! Also, if you want to be done, let me know. Don't just stop replying. I won't be upset! _____________________________________________________________________ Random StuffYou spend your whole life gathering guests for your funeral. There is nothing more unpleasant than realizing that you have somehow spilled syrup on the inside of your clothes. When making toast, cut the bread with a non-serrated knife. This will produce a much smoother cut, which makes it easier to spread butter.
