| jinx the inheritance cycle by christopher paolini (four books) is amazing. it's got a fully fleshed out world, its own language, dragons, elves, monsters, magic, and lots and lots of violence. there's a lot of one-sided pining throughout the entire series, but i don't think any real romance. it's quite probably one of the best book series i've ever read. in a similar vein, the last dragon chronicles by chris d'lacey (seven books) is also amazing. it's about dragons made out of clay, and has witches, evil gargoyles, i think doppelgangers, alternate dimensions, and plenty of angst. i think the violence is more mild, and it also has some mild romance |

| in my opinion it's one thing to mention a young adult book with the occasional adult scene, but one of those titles is absolutely not appropriate for minors |

| Blue Well if they aren't allowed to mention off-site areas to discuss them in, it would be more difficult than weird. You kind of make it sound like they were being vulgar, and where you were right to remind about the age demographic the game favors, saying it would be even weirder to take it to DM's after griping about it in chat is counterproductive lol. |
