I know some landlords are douches about ESAs because people do use them as an excuse to bring animals that are not trained/are not needed into places they don't belong. It sucks because it does negatively impact people like you who do have a valid reason to need an ESA |

| I renew my prescription every year to adhere to FHA. I also have it as a PDF. Additionally, my ESA is a small dog and there is no damage. I think my landlord is definitely just being a douche. |

| Do you still have the prescription for the ESA? Because I would just attach it constantly because while it isn't a service dog, it is still providing a service. Unless your dog is causing damage, the landlord is being a bit of a douche |

| I dont have to pay pet fees under the Fair Housing Act but it seems like every month my landlord is like "dont you have a dog? Pet fee"... every month. Did he get hit with the amnesia spell |

| I have an ESA prescription, which means I can own an emotional support service dog. The reason being: anxiety and dysthymia. My landlord is stuck between "so is it a service dog?" And "so its a pet?" |
