| Purdy When I was a kid we had a big lab/shepherd mix who was twice my size and still full of puppy energy. My parents would only let me and my little brother walk him with a prong collar so he wouldn't drag us down the street. But we stopped using it when he was better leash trained and we were a bit bigger. |

| purdy definitely a case-by-case type of thing. awful in the wrong hands, great with the right handler and dog. i personally don't use them as a trainer as i don't have the need for them, but i'm not against them when used correctly and on the right dog. amazing tools for blind & deaf dogs:) |
