| Probably not, because if they know that you've ate within that time period you're supposed to fast, they will deny surgery so that doesn't happen. However, it wouldn't entirely surprise me if there was a recent case, because people love lying to medical professionals a lot lol |

| They fast the dogs before fixing them because if they don't the food or water will go up the throat and probably oof the dog I watched this on humans on yt I think it goes for all mammals |
