I winced at the warmth that had left me, I squirmed around looking for the source of creamy-white stuff that I had suckled on the past 3 days, I whined for the source to come back but it was gone, forever...
I spent my next 2 months getting food from the new alpha female of my pack, she was my new mother, where had mine gone, what had happened, some will never know I guess.
Once I had turned 2 years of age I decided to leave my home pack, No one had told me who my mother of father was, where they went, or how they went... I sighed and walked up to Edme, my "mother" and nuzzled her "Mother I am leaving, I must." I said and sat down "Shadow, you are the next hire to the alpha throne of this pack! You must not leave. It was your mothers wish!" Edme said gave me a stern look, "That's what you say with everything! It was your mothers wish...I don't even know her! You told me nothing!" I said starting to get frustrated, she used my mother in everything, I never even saw her. "Shadow, you listen to me now! You will stay and yield the alpha throne once I pass! No arguing!" Edme yelled and sat back down clearly stating that she was over the conversation. I huffed and laid down, I had a plan...
That very night I set out at midnight, I would not stay in a pack that didn't even tell me who my parents were. "Sorry, I said I had to." I said looking back at my old pack, wolves were sleeping everywhere, I sighed then lifted my head high and continued padding forward.
The next morning I reached a new pack territory, it's seemed nice. I later joined, my new alpha Chris was a great alpha leader, he grew a growing trust bond with me. The next day a new wolf joined...Dream, a female with Electric-Blue eyes and a pitch black pelt, like myself. Dream and I had a everlasting friendship, maybe even more. One day I finally figured out that I had feelings for Dream and I couldn't hold it in any longer "Dream, I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm in love with you..." I trailed off....
Dream looked at me with shock in her eyes for a second then confessed her love for me also, we were instant mates. We were inseparable, mad love it was. We formed a bond that no one could break or define. After a couple of weeks we had mated and Dream was in-fact carrying our pups. Almost four months later Dream gave birth... sadly two pups had died...one of the only times I had cried...but one lucky pup had survived, we cherish her deeply and I would die for either of them in a split-second, the pups name...Lucky, our little darling.
Three weeks had passed and Dream and I decided to start our own pack and leave the one we met and lived at. We agreed on going to a territory that I had once saw and stayed at for a while. That was our destination. We set off three days after the discussion and our 3-day journey had began.
Was I ready you ask? Yes indeed I was. For I was a natural born alpha, I was in-fact Shadow'sCall.
