The moon was starting to rise, it was time to meet Hans in the forest. Swiftly, Callie loped away from the pack's camp and their keen guard Dagger. Creeping quietly Callie scented Hans nearby, she padded forward to meet him and her greeted her with a nuzzle above her shoulder. Callie licked him on his muzzle as groomed he behind her ears. Finally Callie broke the silence, she turned to Hans and asked him "How can we keep going on like this, Beta has already suspected I've been up to something". Well, there is always one option, we run away together and start own own pack", he replied..... The next morning Alpha's howl rang out through the pack's camp, "Our fellow rival pack has been on our territory, stolen plump prey, and messed with our wolves, I challenge their authority to a battle over the forest". Howls of agreement spread out through the pack, wolves were chosen and as they bolted down the slope. Alpha challenged and the battle had begone! The sandy floors were caked with blood and wolves fought fiercely. A rival wolf knocked down Callie and stood over her snarling. Hans slashed at him and growled a warning the wolf fled. Her packmates were winning but Callie knew they were fine with out her, she knew her heart lay with her secret mate Hans. As they charged up the slope she gave a silent last goodbye to her pack and disappeared into the forest with Hans.
