A certain pride seems to come from knowing one's ancestry. Peggy has this pride stored within her heart, knowing the roots from which her grandmother had planted in this pack long ago. Her greatest desire is to make the plant, which those roots grew to become, blossom and flourish.
She teaches every pup the bare necessities of survival. The functioning of the pack. The pride in their beginning.
Peggy knows her purpose. Her purpose is to serve her pack as Kulvich did long ago. She will serve this purpose faithfully until her heart stops beating.
