Biography
Kairo was a descendant of Kassaro, wandering the forests, unknowing of his ancestry. On the night of an eclipse, the full moon hidden from view, moonlight still shimmered down to the clearing where Kairo lay. When the moonlight drifted closer, Kairo saw the face of a wolf.
"Kairo," it said, its breath like mist. "Kairo. I am Kassaro. You are my son. The pack has died, but you have not. Revive the pack..."
The wolf- Kassaro - floated away, back to the now-clear moon. Kairo stared, awestruck. All wolves had heard of the great leader Buck. So he was meant to be an alpha? Like his father was after the legendary Buck died?
Kairo padded onward, unsure of where he was going, but he followed the moonlight flowing on the ground like a stream of silver. Finally, he arrived to see a mysterious she-wolf sitting by the entrance of an abandoned den.
"Oh? I have been waiting for you. Kairo, right? I am Fox," the brown she-wolf had her tail curled around her, the tip gleaming silver in the moonlight.
"H-" he started, "how did you know my name?"
"Sari and Stormflight told me, as Kassaro told you. They would like us to form the new pack, reviving their old legacy. We shall follow in the way of our ancestors, who recognized the beauty and regalness of ice, and the passion and power of fire."

Kairo has bred once in his life, in his very first year as alpha of the den of Ice and Fire. He loves his mate, Fox, with a fiery compassion, and is cold as ice to anyone who dares try to harm her.
| Personality
Kairo is sometimes a bit timid like his father, Kassaro. He was shocked when he discovered his ancestry and that he was meant to be an alpha. Despite this, Kairo always shows good leadership, knowing the moods of the wolves around him and what caused them to act how they did. The one thing Kairo can not excuse without punishment is denial of their legendary ancestors. He will turn on the guilty wolf and they will be severely punished. Although Kairo is nervous at times, he takes charge and is a good leader when he has to be.
Preferences
Kairo prefers not to have to punish anyone, so he tries to convince them not to do anything before it happens. His favorite colors are blue and green, and he loves elk. He likes the sun shining warmly on his fur in mid-summer, but is terrified if an earthquake or hurricane comes around.
Special Skills
Kairo can perceive things well, especially emotions such as being angry or upset, by watching a wolf's body movement. He will resolve fights with himself and others as best he can, and try not to dwell on quarrels of the past. He is also very wise, as comes from listening to Kassaro, Stormflight, and Sari at full-moon-time and taking the advice of Fox and Nightshade. Kairo enjoys battling and play-fighting, and wants to be a great warrior someday, just like his father, Kassaro. Kairo is charming and often inspiring, and he loves to tease his pack as long as they know it is all in good fun. He feels a deep connection to his warrior ancestors, loves to visit them under the full moon, and does not want to let them down. He looks forward to when he joins them in the stars, but always remembers there is good hunting with his pack.
