Biography
Rift is a snow wolf from a pack up in the tundra valleys. They train their wolves to be only the strongest which has made rift sturdy but not strong enough. He was considered a bad wolf among his people and didn't want to wait and find out what they were going to do with him.
He left late one night while the pack was eating away, another pack member noticed and followed him deep into the forest until they were alone. That's when this wolf, the alpha's son, attacked him.
They fought and fought, their shouts and yelps could be heard across the valley and their alpha took notice to this and rushed to see the chaos.
The alpha's son hated rift's guts, he hated how weak he was, how he held everyone back, and he believes he must make him an example of what you could become if you choose to be soft.
After one bite and another finally the alpha broke up the fight. He called rift a coward and traitor for sneaking away from the pack.
He lied there defeated and covered in the blood of his own and his enemy. The alpha knew not what to do with him as he already paid the price but was it enough to satisfy them?
The other wolves shouted that he should be put down but alpha didn't think he deserved to die with his pack. He ordered everyone to leave and so they did.
The alpha told rift that if he was truly worth something then he would stand up right now but no matter how hard rift tried it just wasn't enough. The alpha left him to die slow in the cold, alone and afraid.
Scav and Hector were scouting the other pack when Scav smelled blood in the distance. She raced towards it and found the near dead wolf. Hector, a man for the people, helped Rift. They dragged him back to their pack without getting noticed by the other pack.
As they patched him up, Jade inspected this wolf, to see if he's worth all of this trouble. She assured him that as long as he contributes then he may stay in the pack. She asks for his name and he gives it to her

she recognized the name but couldn't remember how or why... She accepted him into the pack and he proved to be a good hunter as well. Someone who can navigate through the cold when no one else can
Being an older dog of course he grew close to Scav, being a grandfather like figure to her. Rift told her many stories of what life was life in his previous pack. How cold it would get in the mountains, how harsh the alpha was, how strong they all were, and how weak he was. How he was always the example of what not to be. But Scav shows him that she loves and cares for him a lot, how he's family now and forever.
