Fres's aggressive personality doesn't win her many friends and by the time she met Trest she was pretty much on her own. For her there was no love at first sight, there was just one more wolf getting in the way of her dinner. That is, until she found herself in way over her head when the prey she was tracking turned out to be a mountain lion's lunch. Not surprisingly, the mountain lion was not interested in sharing. While trying to get away Fres got cornered and only made it out thanks to Trest's intervention. After that she stopped trying to scare him off whenever he showed up and eventually he managed to win her over. Now, while she has the final say, she always considers Trest's suggestions carefully.

Fres, the more aggressive of the alpha pair, is quick to snap at those who step out of line, but fiercely protective of all those under her care. While she prefers to take a head on approach to problem solving, she has been learning from her mate that sometimes a roundabout solution is the wisest course to take. While at times she may act unfriendly, she actually cares deeply about the welfare and happiness of everyone in her pack.
