Biography
Hailing from the frozen mountains, Smokefang had led a pretty pampered lifestyle as the prince of his pack and the mischievous younger brother to the new crowned Alpha. Life was a blissful stroll through the snow covered terrain....until the attack. A once peaceful ally pack surprised Smokefang's pack in the night. They set fire to the dry grasses and trees surrounding his home. They slaughtered those they deemed unworthy of serving them. And as Smokefang watched, hidden behind a rock. The Alpha of the attacking pack, his brother's once best friend, threw his big brother and Alpha over the edge of the cliff.
Smokefang, the next morning, found himself alone with his brother and parents dead. The pack that had attacked his home claimed the territory as their own, and the Alpha forced the now widowed Alpha Female, Snowdove, to be his. Smokefang was trained ruthlessly until he worked up the courage to flee his once lush homeland. Wandering the land alone until he stumbled upon a hunting party of wolves and the newly titled Alpha offered him a home. He was given the Beta title quickly by a long, lanky wolf named Ravenfeather who desperately wanted to rid himself of the title.
He dislikes his name, for it's not his original, but can't bare to change it back or to something new for Snowdove gave him name. A name that was agreed upon by the Alpha Male, albeit begrudgingly, that was the closest to not regarding violence or power. And it echos Smokefang's late older brother's name, Smokefur.
With the sudden, and unexpected passing of Ghostwhisper, Smokefang was promoted from Beta Male to Alpha Male of a pack he was very new to already. He hopes that he has the same natural leadership skill that his late brother and Ghostwhisper seemed to have.
Stepped down from being Alpha Male and gave it to the young Fleetfire. Even though he does like Velvetfoot, the two of them always seemed to bicker over every decision made for the pack. Hopefully the more patient and dominant Fleetfire will be able to do the job better than Smokefang. For now, the former alpha is perfectly fine with just lounging as Beta.

Even through his traumatic pup-hood, Smokefang still remains a gregarious wolf. He likes flirting, bragging about how he was prince and how much better he'll be at fighting than everyone else, and playing games to entertainment himself. But Smokefang does keep a lot of his past in the shadows, and stretches the truth to how good his homeland was.
Preferences
He likes rolling in the snow, catching snowflakes on his tongue, attempting to ice skate over frozen lakes, eating elk meat, sleeping bundled up in makeshift blankets, and flirting with pretty wolves.
