Biography
The only son of Laughing Fox at Dusk. He is one of an old lineage, the only one in the pack who can say he is a direct descendant of Opposite Night and Falcon of the Dawn, and yet also say he is the descendant of Storm Father and Wind Mother. He had a lonely puphood. Flying Fawn over Grass is the only wolf he truly liked. So instead of bonding with wolves he bonded with other creatures. Swift hare footprints was always a rash young wolf. He always loved chasing rabbits, as a game, not for kill. He couldn't imagine why his pack would kill the gentle creatures. He felt the way about rabbits that Leaping Deer over Bush felt about deer. He had a connection with them. He couldn't hunt them. And after he saw them killed during his first hunt he refused to ever go on a hunting party where they were killed again, instead he helped the new mothers with their pups. He tried to befriend the rabbits and use them to help train the pups for their first hunts. Swift hare footprints already befriended a few rabbits and got them to agree to help, in exchange for a promise of not getting eaten. Swift was happy, but also a bit nervous how the pups would handle this, but to his relief, the pups listened to him about not killing the hares. He is good friends with a silver fox also, and meets with her every day, he doesn't know how the Alpha's will feel about a fox,or how the rabbits will, but he remembers when the wolves of old used to work with predators despite the competition. But there is more about the fox, that he doesn't know. His father Laughing Fox at Dusk and grandfather Crying Fox at Sunrise had known this fox. It was their guardian, and it would forever be a guardian of the line of Opposite Night and Falcon of the Dawn.
