The gallows, a place that withheld justice for centuries in human history. The site of cleansing wrongdoers of their evils and of preventing dogooders from potential evils.
The blinding sight of golden gallows ahead isn't some omen forewarning one of their wrongdoings. Those are the gallows they themselves constructed. Built as heavily or gallantly as the evils which it be comprised of.
Do you see there? Just atop that hill? The one you've watched for decades, thinking it be a sunrise beyond the darkness that is your life. It is no sun. I urge you, climb that hill and you shall see. See for yourself. The light in your tunnel is indeed the ending, but not such a pleasant one as you'd dreamed. Perhaps now that you know, you'll even tie your own noose, willingly hanging from the grand old tree to become one of the hundreds of fruits that she bore...
This is Gallows, seeker of justice. Unlike the olden time trials given to people long long ago, she makes no mistakes. She knows the truth by simply gazing into your eyes. Innocence lives on while those who are wrongdoers or soon to be wrongdoers become the plump fruit for an old willow to bare. Her pure bark healing souls with ailments and her ability for regeneration ensuring immortal justice. Making the old tree most reliable for Gallows and her self dealt justice.

| Personality
Often times, Gallows is cut and dry, black and white. Never is anything in any shade of grey. Either right or wrong. That is her life. She isn't really the sweetest of individuals. Sure, she'll pretend to be kind to get what she needs to know. However, outside of that, she's quite rude and lacking in any humor. Telling her humor about the gallows doesn't amuse her, not one bit. So don't think you're being funny or cute to get yourself an easy break.
Once she gets something set in her head, it is going to happen. You won't stop her. Unless of course it involves hurting innocence. She avoids that at all costs as it is never her intention. One might say this justified personality comes from her family. Specifically her mother.
There are strong personality differences between the two though. Yes, they both bare a fiery passion for their goals...but Gallows doesn't exactly have nor want friends to bring her down from her not so little downward spirals. Like her mother, Gallows is very hotheaded. She doesn't handle anger well. Well...she doesn't really handle any emotion well...
In all reality, she far prefers locking away her emotions and avoiding them all together. For her, her goal of maintaining justice and defending those who deserve it is the top priority. She doesn't give herself time to simply relish in life. So...all work, no play...
Intimidating yet honourable, you can always count on her to be true to her word while staring at you like you're something to eat. Just because she upholds her end of any bargain she strikes doesn't mean she'll trust the other party to do the same. Thus, the reason behind watching everyone with a cold stare.
Preferences
She likes things to be simple, nothing complex, no strings. Just her beloved job and nothing more. Though, there are times when she slips up and will check in on those she cares for, like her mother and father...

Gallows is able to fly on her great golden wings.
She also has the ability to see the truth of everything about anyone or thing by looking into their eyes. She knows when someone lies and easily sniffs out the truth. So don't think you can pull the wool over her eyes.
Other than seeing the truth through the eyes of others, her eyes also have enhanced vision. I don't mean night vision. Obviously, wolves can see in the dark. I mean that even from high in the sky or atop a mountain, she can view things up close with sharp, clean vision. Sort of like with birds of prey.
