They did not know where he came from. Or when he arrived. One day, he was just there, respectfully waiting at the boarder of the pack's outer perimeter. His appearance was unsettling: his movements graceful, well messured and soundless, he himself always accompanied by an air of confidence and an unnatural aura, and his gaze as if scanning one's soul. He did not approach the other wolves and kept to himself, silently biding his time, avoiding any closer contact. The pack was happy with it, and let him be.
The day Dunehopper passed away, Wepauwet stepped up quielty, and claimed the Alpha position. Nobody dared to question his claim or confront him otherwise. They accepted, and run with him ever since.
