Biography
Ashrunner was born in a barren landscape in the south. At the age of three, he and his pack had to flee their birth place due to a great drought, which was spreading through the country and overwhelming man, animal and water alike. They started a long travel, drawn by stories of endless food and evergreen places at a mystical land up north, the myth keeping their will fueled. But the journey was long, hazardous and consuming. One by one, his pack mates perished, until he was all by himself. Being at the end of his rope, he barely made it to the sacred land, more dead than alive, clearly beaten in body and mind.
Finding Echo of the past and starting a pack with her kicked up his scared spirit. As a traveler, and a survivalist due to the harsh environment of his homeland, adapting to new conditions and handling new situations came easy to him: he managed being father, provider and leader all of the sudden. Not having a strong physique, he maintains his Alpha position by his strong will and focused nature (and of course with the help of Echo of the past). Also, within the pack, there is no one to match his skills in scouting, hunting and camouflage.
On the downside, growing up in sparse surroundings and hot climate in his youth, makes him quite edgy around bigger waters and oversensitive to cold weather. And oh boy, does he get grumpy during winter!
