Flinty grins as Red moves closer to the mound he was hiding behind. With a quick leap he jumps beside him, scarring Red enough to fall backwards," Mornin' to ya Alpha boy!"
"Would you not." Red says agitated.
Flinty rolls his eyes,"Buzz kill."
Red ignores him looking off into the field.
"What is it?" Flinty ask seriously.
"CloudStorm left."
"Wait, what?"
"He's gone." Red looks over at Flinty who now was looking off into the field to. "Flame sold him off." Flinty quickly looks back to Red as he walks away.
'But we never sell a family member...' It was then Flinty remembered the old Beta male, Storm.
"I guess our rules aren't that true after all." Red looks back for a second but continues to walk away.
When Flinty was born Red had been his best friend. But now he hardly ever gets to play even for a minute. Flame is getting old; Red may become Alpha soon and they'd never be able to have fun again...
