Hi there! You must be the visitor. Do you need a drink? I know you probably already had one; Aran always makes sure our guests get one, but it's a hot day, and you need to drink more.
Good? All right! Time for the introductions! I'm Mala, the third wolf to join this pack. I started out in a different pack, but struck out on my own, seeking adventure. I also wanted to move on in life; join a new pack, start my own, you know. All I knew was that the life of a lone wolf didn't suit me at all. And I learned later that I had no interest in leading; beta is good enough for me. So I suppose when it's time for a new alpha, I wouldn't choose to be it unless necessary, but there are many promising wolves who actually want the position, and I trust most to lead better than me.
Getting a bit carried away with the leadership role talk, sorry. Back to my past!
So I was wandering for a bit, visiting packs, when I came to this one. It wasn't really much of a pack yet, though; it was just two wolves, Aran and Faolan, who were trying to start a pack. I was interested at once. If I joined them, I didn't have the full responsibility of being the alpha, and I get to watch their pack grow.
So I've accepted, and never once regretted my choice.
Every wolf in the pack affectionately calls me "The Mother," maybe because I love pups. I'm usually the one to help a wolf with her pups, and in turn the young love to play games with me. I also give plenty of motherly attention to all of my packmates, even my alphas! It's just part of who I am; I can't resist caring for wolves in need, whether they're injured or just want attention.
Aran mentioned the fire, hasn't she? Well, I was one of the luckier wolves. I was separated from everyone except Lor, the alphas' son. No one else had a packmate with them after the disaster. Lor and I worked together to find our packmates, and over time, we became close. Closer than friends-- we were in love.
By the time we finally admitted our feelings to each other, we have found the others and restarted our pack, and one of the rules that many packs have is no packmate may mate another packmate except for the alphas. Our pack has this rule.
So we couldn't mate, and we were both extremely upset. We carried our sorrow for a while before accepting the law, and I eventually found a mate outside of the pack, as did Lor. When I had my mate's pups, Lor helped me with them, showing that he still cared for me but accepted our fates.
There's so much more to say, but I'll let you go see the others. Maybe after you can go back to Aran or me and ask any other questions. I'm always here and ready to talk!

She and Sayi are adoptive sisters, but they don't always get along!
