A grim and austere warrior and a profound necromancer, Rex Cryptae is the Keeper of the Dead. He consults with the spirits of dead Pack members and makes sure they get the proper respect. He performs some of the most sacred rituals of the Pack.
Rex didn't fight to become the Alpha male; he was chosen by Rosa✝Crvx to be her mate. He doesn't claim to be Sol Invictus's successor, knowing perfectly well that he's no match for the highly respected legendary first Alpha. Unlike other members of the Elite, he is a rather humble and stoic wolf leading a pristine, modest life. Over the years as his might and fame as a Battle Wolf grew, so did the respect towards him; these days he could easily aspire to become the Leader but he prefers ruling over spiritual matters than over the Pack itself.
