Ariwyn stepped up a mossy stone wall, as the cold breeze flew through her thick fur, from a North Westernly direction. Her ears perked up at the sound of a fawn hurrying through the tall grass. She stepped down slowly as she lowered her head, getting out of the prey's sight. Her agile body moved around each loose stone, ensuring no noise was made as she approached the feeble prey. Then all time that she had before her, suddenly disappeared, as she was tugged into the past...
"Momma, watch me! I can kill this bunny!"
A tiny, fluffy yet quite unstable pup kicked back, almost like a bull, as she lowered her head. The strands of grass tickled her nose, causing her to sneeze as the rabbit fled. She fell back onto her rump, as she gave off a long sigh. Her mother chuckled, as she raised herself from the ground, quickly pouncing on the rabbit and killing it in one hit.
"Momma, when I grow up, I want to be just like you!"
"We'll see Ariwyn, maybe one day you'll be even better than your mother. Just remember, when life puts obstacles on your path, jump over them. When life throws rocks at you, dodge the hits, pick up another rock and throw it even harder."
Her mother's words were of great importance to her, and she always followed her advice, hoping she would grow up to be a powerful hunter and battle wolf. As she was pulled back into the present time, she pounced on the fawn, biting down until it stopped moving, as she then carried it back to her new pack.
