Kal was the foundress of Talen pack. She was the pack's best hunter at the time of her death. Her motherly nature brought peace to the pack; her death occurred upon bringing her pup, Call, into the world (death script the next day). The wolves of Talen pack will remember her; the pack is comprised of her descendants and their mates.

Silver was not born into the Talen pack, nor was he its founder, but he was integral to its success. As Kal's mate, he was the father of the majority of the rest of the pack, in which his blood still runs. A vicious sandstorm took his life and the life of his son's mate Quicksilver, leaving his young granddaughter, Silver Rain, as the next Alpha. Silver is remembered as a fierce, capable hunter who would never back down from life's challenges.

Silver Birch was the son of Silver and Kal, and led the pack for many years. When his mate, Quicksilver, died, he was succeeded by their daughter Silver Rain. As Beta, he advised the new pair and helped them succeed. Silver Birch is remembered as a loving father and easygoing Alpha, who always made time for the other members of his pack. Silver Birch watched over Silver Rain and her mate Enzo for many years before lying down in the snow and closing his eyes one final time.

Silver's daughter was not born into the pack, but joined her father to run among the Talen wolves. Shoreline was, in her time, the pack's best hunter, roaming every biome and killing mythical creatures, mountain lions, and once a rhinoceros. Despite her prowess as a hunter, she died bringing her son, Breeze, into the world (death script same day). She will be remembered by the pack, who worry that they will starve without Shoreline's strong jaws and resolute temperament.

Kal's melanistic son was born with strength in his genes and fire in his heart. The brave wolf quickly became a powerful hunter, and claimed Shoreline as a mate after she joined the pack. After her death, he became the pack's best hunter. Fox often roamed outside the pack, and due to his handsome features and ambitious nature was responsible for spreading Kal's bloodline far and wide. Fox always aimed high in life, and seemed to have a goal of becoming Alpha. Perhaps he has done so now.

Silver Rain was the daughter of Silver Birch, and led the pack after Quicksilver's death. She was an explorer first and foremost, and led the pack through two trips through the mountains, desert, and tundra. Her strict nature served as a model for many generations of pups, including her son and successor, Silver Wish.

Kal and Silver's youngest daughter was a quiet, peaceful wolf. Despite this, she was a fierce hunter, and a strong Beta of Talen Pack. She was loyal to her family, and indeed gave up her life to protect them. Due to her sacrifice, her blood still flows in the pack.

Breeze was the son of Fox and Shoreline, and inherited his parents' ambitions. Though he never met his mother, his formidable hunting skills must have made her proud. Multiple yetis died under the melanistic wolf's jaws. Breeze was always skilled at taking care of pups; he and his mate, Maelstrom, were highly prolific, keeping his blood flowing in the pack.
