FIRSTLY!! That lineless portrait of Itzcoatl is just perfection. The blocky rendering with finer detailing on the face and the subtle rim lighting,, ough.
He lacks that kinda,, weathered look a lot of his later/older appearances have and there's just a kinda youthful look to it <33 He's got such a thoughful expression and it's just great,, I'm obsessed.
Fallen Ome Acatl?? SO excited to hear more about that/see more of it whenever you bless me with more knowledge *^* I don't think I've ever been so excited for a character arc ever, god. They're looking very at home in Itztli's cape. ALSO?? The lil fluff of the feathers/lacking wings,, god, I want to grab them. So tragic I think Itztli would stab me if I did </3
Xolotl's mask is so intimidating too, holy. I know he's the representation of death n all but omg.

KillllaaaaaAAaAaH Vince?? The pose is PERFECT. Looks absolutely effortless. Once again Vincent's eyelashes put everyone to shame, they're so perfect. I LOVE how the hair is rendered too!!
I've already gone on about the chibis of our favourite [not so] old men dancing but I really do adore it. As much as I love Ome Acatl and Itztli, it is nice to see Itztli actually enjoying life LOL

Actually realising Tezcat is somehow the one I know the least about cough. God His eyes though, so pretty <3 Somehow I'm so surprised by His lil smile and thumbs up, I guess I'm just accustomed to Ome Acatl's complete lack of expression most of the time

The sketch of Rory in the main image of the AF card is so endearing,, I love the lil crystal tucked between his paws too. I'm FIENDING for AF to start it's going to be so good omg. Itztli's expression gets me right in the feels though </33

Oh my god ET 😭 bringing the essays here <3 THANK YOU! I've been stuck in lineless heaven for a few weeks and honestly why is it so much more enjoyable aasdh, it's so fun to get all the facial features and everything more visible! I have so much detail in my designs that don't really show when I draw them normally :D Yessss them!! They!! They needed to be a little humbled. Unfortunately they got their unexpected backup plan by the name of Itztli LOL. He probably would stab you but it's fine shh </3 Xolo got a little silly with his mask ;p Lord you don't know how many Gaga songs I wanna caption him with every time I draw him </3 but he is a Killah for real. THANK YOU THOUGH, the pose was super fun to work with and also the lighting hehe. Just a little sketch to get mr. Eyelashes out of my head. It did not work Hey they are kind of old </3 at least by comparison to others,, around 40 and 50 probably,,
YES though cause I draw him suffering a lot but he is a happy lad overall 😭 poor guy Quetz is almost chill but he's not an incarnation unfortunately </3
You are right in that though cause Tezcat is just so enigmatic He doesn't really bother to make Himself particularly known LMAO. Wow... so mysterious.. Honestly I just wanted to draw Him looking happy for the sake of contradiction - but He DOES have a bigger range of visible emotions than OA, for sure 🙌 THANK YOU <3 I actually used references to get it proper looking this time 😭 I gotta share this one I didn't reference but I accidentally found when searching (LMAOO why does it look like that) honestly the ear fluff was such a great addition.. Plaid IS hard to draw, crying. I just kind of winged it hehehe YEAH I'm so excited for Artfight asshshj I wanna draw more critters this time,, The WENGS <3 I don't know how I forgot about them so far but I'm never forgetting them again even if they don't show up much LOL
