Actually, that is an emotion.. I named an emotion "I don't know" for all those times I really just don't know how to describe how I'm feeling.

Oh, goodie :D I can just label my emotions as that 85% of the time then except I think my OT doesn't really like it when they ask how I feel about something and I say 'I don't know'-
and then I proceed to look up if 'I don't know' is an emotion and I found something called Alexithymia which apparently is a condition where you find it hard to describe emotions or something. interesting... >.>

I feel like there's a difference between emotions and feelings but the words are used so - I dunno how to describe it, like interchangeably? Is that a word? - that I dunno anymore Edited at March 22, 2020 05:47 PM by Emerald Skies

For me, feelings are personal. Far more precise than a set emotion, more the combination of thoughts and emotions in the moment. Feelings are specific to the feeler, in that sense, tailored by personality, past, and situation. Emotion are what we perceive to be the roots of feelings - what we can pick out and label as 'happiness' or 'sadness', the universal feelings of mankind. Honestly, I think all emotions root from two basic sort of feelings: Love and fear. Loss comes from love, and anger from fear - or loss, for that matter. I feel like that's where it all comes back to. . um what did I just write?
