I'm Dark Matter, a scary writer person who threatens her friends as a sign of affection- though most people just call me Doom. I go by she/her but I don't really mind what pronouns I'm given. I am also pretty friendly, though not exactly talkative unless it's in an RP discussion, as I am obsessed with writing and world-building, so that's probably where you'll see me most xD | | | | Hobbies
In no particular order- Writing: I've been writing stories, creating worlds, and making characters for years, and it's probably one of my favorite things to do.
Drawing: Drawing has been a passion of mine probably longer than writing, and I just really enjoy it- though I don't get much further than the sketching phase XD Singing: I took singing lessons for about a year, and have been singing for years on my own, so while I wouldn't say I have an amazing voice, I do have some experience.
Taekwondo: I've been practicing Taekwondo since I was five, and it's honestly become a passion that I don't think I'll stop till I'm dead.
Guitar: It's not a big hobby, but a lot of my family plays so I pick up their guitars and play a few tunes every once in a while.
Reading: Taught myself how to read... probably when I was 3-4? So reading has been my longest hobby, and I have read over 200 books, most with 400+ pages.
Dancing: Took dancing lessons for a while, though time doesn't allow me to take lessons anymore, I just love vibing and moving to music in general.
Acting: Although I wouldn't call myself a theater, I've been acting in theater for fun for several years on off, and would say I have a pretty good understanding of acting.
Gaming: like- I don't know if I'd call myself a gamer? but I do play video games if I have nothing better to do. | Fun Facts

I have broken 4 bones, dislocated my knee, fell down a mountain, stress fractured my feet, and trip over everything and anything.

Landers: an amazing chestnut mustang who is just chill about everything and an absolute dream.
Copper: Copper is my chubby ginger tabby cat, an absolute sweetheart whom I've pretty much grown up with.
Smilla: Smilla was my best friend. Another ginger tabby, though a year younger than copper, and a murder demon. She sadly passed away in October, and will always have a place in my heart.
Tala: Tala is the newest addition to our family, and she is an absolute terror, and I love her for it. She's an ACD, and very much lives up to her breed. An evil genius who will not leave me or my family alone.
Juno: The new nest addition! Juno is absolute chaos right before I go to bed and when I wake up. It's great. She's a lovely tortoiseshell kitten with needles in her paws. | Divider here Dark

I'm an avid roleplayer, so you'll probably see me around in the forums either posting an RP poll, creating a new RP in the sign-ups, or joining one.
For some reason, I never really did 1x1 ones, but I'm in the mood to start a few, so PM me if you're interested! We can work out a plot and characters from there.
I do have a few roleplay rules since I'm a bit picky-

1.
You need proper grammar. I'm fine with a few spelling mistakes, as that happens, but when it comes to punctuation, or a lack thereof, I cannot deal with that.
2.
I usually write a minimum of 500 words in my replies, and I expect a similar literacy. But, honestly, as long as the reply furthers the plot and gives me something to work off, a 300-word response is fine.
3.
I wish I could say I was active, but I am not. So this is more of a warning than a rule- at most I'll probably only get a post out once a week. I have a busy life and am very often very tired :')
4.
Similar to rule 3, I don't need you to be super active. You can take your time to reply, so long as you don't just disappear, and let me know if it'll take more than a week or so to reply. I will of course do the same.
5.
No mary/gary sues, super, or perfect characters.
6.
I only do Forum RP's.
7.
I support the LGBTQ+ community and am open to roleplaying mxm, fxf, and non-binary pairings, I have more experience and am more comfortable with fxm pairings. I am also more comfortable playing female, but any gender is really fine. |

I've been writing since I was nine, creating stories since I was probably four, and pretty much taught myself how to read, because one bedtime story was not enough.
