Just, why. People are fools. Let people believe what they want (or don't want to believe). It's not an issue, Americans >.< I've had a few recent experiences regarding religion that weren't great. I was chatting with an older student, who was openly homosexual, and had mentioned it a few times. They asked me what my religion was, and I responded 'Christian'. Then they got irrationally angry at me, told me they couldn't be friends with me because being Christian apparantly meant I was homophobic, and left. Being homophobic, or discriminatory towards anyone is virtually the exact opposite of the Bible's main principles. Just why.
Wish it weren't like that; religion can be a good thing, but not when it's misunderstood or misused. I've noticed it's extremer in the USA, which I think is a lack of education because good schools are so hard to find.
Everything is more extreme in the US. Including stupidity >.< But I still stand by my claim that the states do have excellent schools, in specific areas.
I know that there are good schools; the college in my area is the best in the state or something, but, just in my opinion, right when ALL the schools get better the USA will slower start being less dumb XD just comparing to Germany where schools are almost top priority the amount of less stupidity is astounding XD |

Doom Yea, there are a huge amount of people in America that just choose to forgo education. How does one choose to not go to school? How? xD My mom is Swedish, and an ER doctor who believes education before anything, and my dad is an Ecuadorian immigrant that believes in hardwork above all else. I'm pretty sure I would be disowned if I dropped out of school xD |
