Story time has commenced, children. Ahem. My friends and I were having a great time, screaming at the top of our lungs while annoying everyone on the lift, singing in our horrible off key voices, etc. After exhausting the double blacks (supposed expert runs- but it’s east coast skiing), we went in for dinner, then started talking about skiing vs. snowboarding. Note, I was the only skier there. Me and my friend planned to switch. I would take her board, and she my skis for a few runs. I had never boarded in my life, and she had only skied when she was little. We had no idea what we were doing. Note that skiing is relatively simple to learn, and very hard to master, but snowboarding is vis versa. So, we struggled through getting off the lift while my other two friends laughed hysterically and caught everything on video. I took out my friend, and she couldn’t figure out how to get back up as she had no idea what she was doing with skis. The two of us struggled our way down the green run, but it was hilarious. My tailbone is eternally bruised from falling so much, and my wrists are really sore, but it was fun :)
